Hello! We are planning to make some small updates to our apartment kitchen. We would like to replace the counters with a white quartz, change the backsplash and flatten the 2-tier bar to just be one level. The cabinets are great quality, and I love a natural wood look, so I am planning to finish this work and see how everything looks. If the cabinets do not look great as is we will either paint them or add a finish to make them look more like natural wood.

I'd love advice on if we should do a traditional backsplash or continue the counters as the backsplash! In addition, our hope is to eventually rent this apartment out which is why I was leaning towards quartz for easy care. Do you agree with that material choice? Thank you for the input!
