Details

Designed by Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen for MENU, the Corbel Shelf is a study in contrasts: It features petite proportions yet a surprisingly spacious surface. Its name references classic architectural weight-bearing brackets, often crafted of stone or wood, called corbels. Use it as a wall-mounted nightstand or a display shelf for decorative objects. Made in Denmark.
  • Unique floating shelf.
  • Combines marble, oak, and steel.
  • Slender, space-efficient proportions.

Kroeyer-Saetter-Lassen

Emil Krøyer and Mads Sætter-Lassen met in a blacksmith’s workshop while studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. They’ve been collaborating on a range of projects ever since, setting up their studio, Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, in 2016. The duo is known for their strong focus on functionality and an honest approach to design—no detail is hidden, nor superfluous.
