A celebration of time-tested joinery techniques and the beauty of solid wood, the Symbol Side Table (2020) is a sculptural form designed to be enjoyed for generations. Intersecting geometric shapes – including arcs, planes, and cylinders – come together without the use of any screws, showcasing the durability and beauty of exposed dovetail and mortise-and-tenon joints. The honest expression of these construction methods furthers the attractive, timeless appearance of this table. To create the curved legs, designer Cody Campanie turned to the craft tradition of coopering (barrel making), resulting in graceful faceted shapes that catch light and create beautiful shadows. Made in Poland.
