“I took some scissors, a big piece of card, and I started to cut…” In 1969, Italian architect Mario Bellini created the Chiara Lamp, an innovative flat-pack lamp with a cloak of shimmering metal. Fifty years later, Flos reissued the lamp with new Bellini-approved finishes and sizes. Designed to stand proudly on a side table, desk, or shelves, the Chiara Table Lamp’s cylindrical structure conceals a dimmable LED that’s gracefully diffused by its angled “hat.” A colored seal accentuates the little lamp’s decorative profile, which beams both light and character into its surroundings.
