Designed for DWR by Danish design studio dk3, the bench features a core of warp-and crack-resistant poplar finished with a thick wood veneer. Solid walnut or oak banding runs the length of the bench and solid end-grain wood caps the planks to protect the edges. Pairs perfectly with the Gather Table (sold separately) and many other DWR tables, or use it in an entry or hall. Made in the Czech Republic.

Jacob Plejdrup

Having served as an apprentice woodworker, Jacob Plejdrup now works alongside other craftspeople in dk3’s carpentry shop, which dates to 1857. “The difference between me and a lot of people educated as designers at an architect school is they will be working with product design on a daily basis, where I’m very, very much self-made, self-taught, and I work from what I feel in my gut, so to speak.”
