Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton hit out at anti-Trump 'extremists' for 'fear-mongering' and denigrating voters who support the president-elect.
In a video posted to X Saturday, Heaton - who played the role of Debra Barone on 210 episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond - accused pundits and other media personalities of manipulating women into believing that a Trump presidency threatens their rights.
'To all these extremists that are allowed television time, who told women that this is what is going to happen to them, shame on you! Shame on you!' she said in the video that had been viewed more than 842,000 times by Tuesday.
'Apparently there's some really vulnerable people here who you targeted and you fear-mongered... and you need to go back on the air and tell them things are going to be OK, tell them that they're fine.
'And also stop saying people who voted differently from you are quote-unquote uneducated.'

She begged the media to 'learn your f-ing lesson about smearing people who feel differently from you, who have different needs from you, who have legitimate complaints.
'Quit dismissing them as uneducated. When are you going to learn?'
Heaton then went on to condemn women who have posted videos sharing their fears about a potential loss of reproductive rights, as some vow to cut off sexual relations with men in protest of Trump's victory.
'I've also seen a lot of the response videos - especially from women who are crying, screaming, shaving their heads, saying their going to be jailed or rounded up or killed or hunted or whatever,' she said.
'We need to pray for them and I just want to say to all of you folks who feel that way, don't make politics or identity groups your religion! Only Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Put your faith in Him, not in men, not in man's institutions, not in human institutions.'
Heaton also noted that she had recently visited the Israeli kibbutzim where women and babies were taken during Hamas' attack on October 7, 2023.
'You're fine here, you're going to be fine, don't worry about it,' she told any women who follow her on the social media app.

Heaton has been vocal about her beliefs in recent years, coming under fire in 2016 for sharing her anti-abortion views on social media.
The Emmy-award winning actress wrote, 'Choose, celebrate, support life! Thanks Northwest Center!' in support of a Washington-based pregnancy resource center and maternity home.
Some social media users were quick to hit out at the actress for her beliefs.
Earlier this year, she also came to the defense of Kanas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker in the wake of a controversial graduation speech he gave earlier this month.
'I don't understand why everyone's knickers are in a twist,' Heaton said in the online clip. 'He gave a commencement speech, the audience applauded twice during the speech and gave him a standing ovation at the end.'
The Cleveland native, who appeared in the clip donning a ballcap and zip-up sweater in front of a workout machine, noted that the audience at the commencement 'enjoyed what he was saying.'
Heaton said that Butker was perfectly appropriate in 'espousing his own opinions and Catholic doctrine' in the public address.
'So what? It's his opinion - he can have one,' Heaton said. 'He's not a monster for stating what he believes.
'He went after bishops much more than he went after women, or what women's choices are, or what he thinks they should be - so, I don't understand.'
