King Charles is a 'wonderful' people person and has 'amazing chat' according to Ellie Simmonds and Tyler West who reflected on the first time they met the monarch.
Paralympic swimmer, Ellie, 29, and radio presenter and DJ, Tyler, 28, appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Wednesday to share their heartwarming encounters with the King.
The two remembered the King's kindness and 'amazing ability to keep the conversation going from person to person'.
Speaking to Lorraine at Buckingham Palace, the swimmer and DJ explained that the two have become regulars at the royal palace, having visited on more than one occasion.
'It's like it's become our second home!' Ellie joked.

'We've been very fortunate to have been here a couple of times, that's right,' Tyler replied.
Tyler first met the king two years ago. 'When I met him, it's almost like when you go to shake hands with someone... I just forgot where I was for a second and went to fist bump him.
'But I was scared he was going to cabbage me so it was a bit of an awkward interaction so I said "I need to teach you how to fist bump now". So that's where it's developed to where we are now.'
The King defied tradition in March earlier this year when he met with Tyler again.
Charles was pictured skipping the formal handshake with Tyler West, opting for a fist bump while celebrating the winners, supporters and hosts of the Prince's Trust Awards.
The DJ said that he and the King are now on very friendly terms.
'We've got like a six piece hand shake,' and said that the King even remembers to give him a fist bump when the two now meet.
Ellie Simmonds recalled her first trip to Buckingham Palace when she first met the late Queen Elizabeth when she was just a teenager.

'I was 14 when I first came here and I got my MBE by the Queen so yeah, it was a wonderful experience. I got to bring my grandma!' she remembered fondly.
'She loves the Queen, so for me to bring her along, was just .. I was quite nervous to meet her though. Really nervous.'
Ellie was awarded her MBE by the former monarch at just 14-years-old following her success at the Bejing Summer Paralympics in 2008.
She won gold medals in the 100 metres and 400 metres freestyle swimming events when she was 13.
As well as his top notch fist bump, Tyler remembered the King's fantastic people skills, reflecting on conversations the two had had about 'jerk chicken and Brixton'.
'He's got this amazing ability to just keep the conversation going from person to person.
'He's got strong chat!' he said, sending both Ellie and Lorraine into fits of laughter.
Ellie agreed, recalling, 'He was talking to me, when he came last he was talking to me about swimming with a dog, racing with a dog, and I just thought, "Isn't that just wonderful, that's such nice chat".
'It's just normal chat,' she said remembering the conversation she had with Charles.

'It's hard because you don't quite know where to put yourself with the royal family and they are so good at putting you at ease,' Lorraine commented, acknowledging it can be very 'nerve wracking being in these situations'.
'They're just human beings. And having that chat, it just brings everything down to earth and then it's like "Ah actually, you can relax now,"' Tyler said, praising the kind hearted royals.
The TV presenter then went on to share some other positive memories of spending time at Buckingham Palace, telling Lorraine the hand cream in the bathrooms has always been another highlight for him.
When Lorraine asked what Tyler would do when he next met King Charles, he joked ''m gonna have to kiss him on the forehead at this point!'
'Can you not teach him a bit of dance of DJing,' joked Ellie.
