The CN Railroaders in the Community program recognizes these acts of kindness by providing grants to the not for profit organizations employees choose to support through their volunteer efforts.

Here’s a snapshot:

• Earn a reward (donation) for every hour you volunteer with an eligible organization. Each hour of volunteering is rewarded with a $15 donation for your charity.
• There is no limit to the number of charities for which you can volunteer.
• The eligibility criteria for a donation are the same for everyone (active employees, family members, retirees or surviving spouses).
• Our new dynamic website allows you to track your volunteer hours, keep you informed about local volunteer opportunities and more!

In 2024, CN contributed more than $1.8 million to the organizations where CN railroaders volunteer.

• Open to active employees, their family members, retirees and surviving spouses.
