WILKES-BARRE — Crestwood held Hanover Area to single digits in three of the four quarters as the Comets reached the championship game of the McGrane Tournament with a 67-35 victory Thursday night in the semifinals.

Crestwood will face off with Holy Redeemer in Friday’s championship. The Royals defeated Lake-Lehman in the other semifinal.

Eleven Comets scored as Ryan Sechleer and Ayden Agapito each had 12 points. Jacob Feisel added eight in the win.

Noah Dewey led Hanover with 15 points.

Holy Redeemer 54, Lake-Lehman 27: Holy Redeemer exploded in the second half, scoring 36 points, to advance to the championship against Crestwood.

Kyaire McLean scored nine of his 11 points in the third quarter, and Logan Shrader also netted 11.

Spencer Smith and Ben Dowling combined for 23 of Lehman’s 27 points.
