The 13th Concert for Rebecca fundraiser was held Nov. 29 at Sand Springs Country Club in Drums.
The free-admission event was started in 2010 by Terry Renninger and his late wife, Teresa, of Mountain Top, in memory of their daughter, Rebecca, who was killed by her estranged husband in a domestic violence homicide in 2009. The goal of the concert is to raise awareness about domestic violence and hopefully inspire others in a violent situation to call for help. The event raises funds for the Domestic Violence Service Center and the Victims Resource Center.
