Breathtaking sunset hike on the rim of Islands in the Sky. Accessibility: According to the park website, to the first overlook the trail is paved concrete and wheelchair and stroller friendly. Past that, there are stairs and it turns into traversing rocky cliff edges. The width is typically at least four feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (all 3% or less).

This short trail makes for a great stop at the visitors center, with excellent opportunities to take breathtaking pictures. It offers great views of the canyon and the large Solar Evaporation Ponds in the background. The trail is easy, paved, and great for everyone, with some excellent informational signs.

This is a scenic driving route not a hiking trail. Traffic on the Scenic Highway can be heavy, especially if there is any construction going on. Expect big wait times to get into Lions Park outside Moab from Park City south at certain times of the year. The looks at the Colorado River are worth the walk to see the cliffs up close.
