Accessibility: According to the park website, to the first overlook the trail is paved concrete and wheelchair and stroller friendly. Past that, there are stairs and it turns into traversing rocky cliff edges. This unique trail leads to Fiery Furnace and the Surprise Arch. Fiery Furnace is a technical maze-like trail that goes through narrow spaces and requires navigating on sandstone, loose sand, and narrow ledges. A self-guided hike to Fiery Furnace requires a permit, or you can sign up to hike it with a ranger. Rangers offer hikes from Spring to the Fall, and reservations are needed. Proper hiking shoes or boots are recommended.

This canyon hike takes you to a beautiful and impressive arch known as the Morning Glory Natural Bridge. This sandstone rock formation isn't the only unique rock you'll see on the trip. This canyon trip is full of beautiful, water-sculpted sandstone. You'll be hiking through water in a few places, and there are a few creek crossings. There are also a few sections of light scrambling along this route.

This is a scenic driving route not a hiking trail. Traffic on the Scenic Highway can be heavy, especially if there is any construction going on. Expect big wait times to get into Lions Park outside Moab from Park City south at certain times of the year. The looks at the Colorado River are worth the walk to see the cliffs up close.

This trail can be accessed at either of two trailheads--one at the top of Miner's Basin Road as mapped here and the other at Warner Lake Campground. The road to the trailhead at Miner's Basin Road is very rough and requires a high-clearance four wheel drive vehicle in order to access. From Warner Lake CG you head up the trail in a steep ravine which passes Mountain View and Gold Knob Trails, until it reaches the saddle. From Miner's Basin Trailhead beginning right at the lake, you head east...
