Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 1 ⅔ cups evaporated milk

  • 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger

  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice

  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

  2. Combine evaporated milk, pumpkin, sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and cloves; blend until smooth. Pour batter into unbaked pie crust.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking until filling is set, about 40 minutes more.
