Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 20 servings

  • 1 quart canola oil for frying

  • 1 (20 ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies with cream filling

  • 2 cups dry pancake mix

  • 1 cup water

  • ½ cup confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  2. Meanwhile, combine pancake mix and water according to package directions.

  3. When oil reaches temperature, dip 4 or 5 cookies at a time into batter; add to oil and fry until golden brown, turning once. Remove from oil using tongs; drain on paper towels. Dust fried cookies with confectioners' sugar; serve.
