Sangria by the Pros

I found a good sangria recipe and headed to the liquor store to purchase the brandy and red wine. In line ahead of me was a man who said he has been a bartender for 20 years now and that the recipe needed a few touch-ups if I wanted to make it like the professionals. So here is what he professed to me. Thanks to the other submitters for their delicious versions as well.

A pitcher and two glasses of fruit filled red sangria sit on an outdoor patio table. A small bowl of cherries for garnishing sits nearby
