Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 1 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, or more to taste

  • 1/3 cup confectioner's sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine heavy whipping cream, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.

  2. Pipe mousse into 6 shot glasses. Serve immediately or chill until serving.
