Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • ½ cup quick cooking oats

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 tablespoon skim milk, or as needed

Directions

  1. Combine oats and water in a microwave-safe bowl and cook in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Top off with as much milk as desired.

Cook's Note:

Feel free to substitute Splenda(R) or another sweetener for a low-sugar alternative.
