Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 16 servings

  • 8 tomatillos, husked

  • 3 shallots

  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 fresh jalapeño pepper, seeded

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled

  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Place tomatillos, shallots, green chile peppers, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic, and salt in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped. Pour salsa into a serving bowl; cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving.
