Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup white sugar ½ cup butter, softened 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 pinch salt 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 cup buttermilk Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
