Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings

  • 1 cup red wine

  • 1 cup ice cubes, crushed

  • cup frozen blueberries

  • cup fresh raspberries

  • cup frozen strawberries

  • ¼ cup orange-flavored liqueur

  • ½ orange, juiced

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar, or more to taste

Directions

  1. Combine red wine, ice cubes, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, orange-flavored liqueur, orange juice, and sugar in a blender; process until smooth. Serve immediately or freeze.

Cook’s Note

The alcohol content keeps the mixture from freezing hard. The ice crystals melt pretty quickly so you can break it up and serve it in glasses, with or without spoons to scoop up the boozy slush.

Substitute brandy for the orange-flavored liqueur, if desired.
