This homemade spicy quesadilla sauce is very good and easy to make in minutes!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 18 servings

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (such as Hellman's)

  • 3 tablespoons canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained (reserve juice)

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • 2 teaspoons paprika

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, jalapeño peppers, 3 tablespoons of pickling juice from peppers, sugar, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt together in a bowl.

Cook’s Note

For the best flavor, I cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for 4 to 6 hours before serving.
