Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings 2 cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon salt 4 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon cream of tartar 2 teaspoons white sugar ½ cup butter, chilled and diced ¾ cup milk Directions Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
