Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • cup water

  • cup vinegar

  • cup vegetable oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian-style seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine water, vinegar, oil, garlic, thyme, Italian-style seasoning, poultry seasoning, rosemary, salt, and ground black pepper in a medium bowl; mix well.

To use the marinade: Add your chicken or meat and toss to evenly coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for for 2 to 4 hours.

Remove chicken or meat from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade. Cook or grill to desired doneness.
