Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can Campbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup (Regular, Healthy Request® or 25% Less Sodium), divided

  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs

  • 1 envelope dry onion soup and recipe mix

  • 1 large egg, beaten

  • ¼ cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Combine 1/2 cup condensed tomato soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, onion soup mix, and egg in a large bowl. Shape into an 8x4-inch loaf on a large, rimmed baking sheet.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until meatloaf registers 160 degrees on a meat thermometer, about 1 hour 15 minutes.

  4. Heat 2 tablespoons pan drippings, remaining condensed tomato soup, and water in a saucepan over medium heat until mixture is hot and bubbling. Serve sliced meatloaf with sauce.
