This baked honey barbecue chicken recipe is so easy to make with boneless chicken breasts and a delicious honey barbecue sauce. I like to use the extra sauce on mashed potatoes to complete the meal.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings

  • ¾ cup barbecue sauce

  • ¾ cup honey

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. Mix barbecue sauce, honey, ketchup, and onion together in a medium bowl until well combined.

  3. Place chicken in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken, then cover the dish with foil.
