Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 6 slices bacon

  • ½ tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 shallots, chopped

  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen Brussels sprouts, thawed, halved, and pat dry

Directions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, crumble, and set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots and cook until soft.

  3. Add Brussels sprouts, cut side down. Cook, undisturbed until browned, turning once or twice, 7 to 9 minutes total.

  4. Add bacon and stir until heated through, about 1 minute.
