This is a very tasty tossed salad; a swanky version of a regular everyday tossed salad. The addition of blue cheese and dried cranberries give it something special. Whenever I bring it somewhere, people always ask for the recipe!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 4 hearts of romaine lettuce, chopped

  • ¾ cup grape tomatoes, halved

  • ½ English cucumber, sliced

  • ½ cup chopped toasted pecans

  • ½ cup dried cranberries

  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese

  • ¾ cup balsamic vinaigrette

Directions

  1. Layer romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumber, pecans, cranberries, and blue cheese in a large salad bowl. Toss salad with balsamic vinaigrette before serving.
