So, while you may think that many of your favorite celebs are above swinging through the McDonald’s drive-thru, think again. Or, at least Emma Stone isn’t above it. In fact, McDonald’s isn’t just somewhere the Oscar Award-winning actress begrudgingly visits on her way home from set, but it’s somewhere she actively likes going to. Emma Stone's Go-To McDonald's Order During “LADbible TV’s” segment “Agree to Disagree,” Stone and her “Poor Things” co-star Mark Ruffalo were asked if they thought visiting international McDonald’s is a must-do. They both said they strongly agreed with the statement—because who wouldn’t want to try the U.K.’s Chicken Big Mac or enjoy the beloved Snack Wrap in Canada one more time? “I do want to try McDonald’s everywhere,” Stone said. The actors gushed over just how delicious the McDonald’s in Hungary, where they filmed “Poor Things,” is. “I had McDonald’s every other day when we were in Hungary,” Ruffalo said. “Me too,” Stone agreed. Not only does Hungarian Mickey D’s serve different menu items than the U.S.—like a burger topped with fried cheese, pork burgers, and waffle fries—but also, European McDonald’s have different rules for food preparation and ingredients. For example, while McDonald’s french fries in the U.S. have about 10 different ingredients, McDonald’s fries in Hungary only have five. “It’s super fresh,” Ruffalo said. “The fries at McDonald’s in Hungary are off the hook.” “Very good. Oh my god, the McFlurry,” Stone recalled. So, if Stone and Ruffalo were eating McDonald’s every other day while they were in Hungary—which was for about six months—what were they ordering? “[My order] is so depressing. I eat like a 12-year-old,” Stone said. In hindsight, we shouldn’t be too surprised, considering that Stone’s go-to snack is apples with peanut butter, and her regular coffee order is a Starbucks coffee with steamed coconut milk. But, even though the “The Curse” actress’ Mickey D’s order doesn’t involve her trying the new international menu items, it is pretty classic for the Golden Arches. “It’s a number two, which is two cheeseburgers, but I get it without the cheese or any condiments. It’s just the meat and the bun; the fries; a Dr. Pepper or a Coke, depending on the day; and then a McFlurry,” she said. Earlier in the interview, Ruffalo had reminded Stone he ordered her an M&M McFlurry multiple times while filming, so we’d assume that’s the variety she chooses. And what about the Marvel star? Ruffalo opts for a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and no onions. Between Stone, Ruffalo, and even superstar Adele enjoying McDonald’s as frequently as they do, we’ll never let anyone tell us to lay off the fast food ever again. In fact, we’re headed to the drive-thru right now. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
