It's not Costco's fan-favorite Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie that tastes like a Reese's Cup. It's something much smaller and individually packaged, and it's getting a lot of attention on social media. "PeaNuT BuTteR Cup Jars at Costco!!! I picked these up at a Costco in FL and couldn't wait to dig in!!!" reads the caption of Costcohotfinds' recent Instagram post. Laura Lamb, the voice behind the account, shows the boxes of Jar Joy's Peanut Butter Cup jars in a refrigerated case at Costco. The video cuts to Lamb digging into the dessert at home. At the same time, her voiceover describes the jars that have a layer of chocolate cookies and cake crumbles, a layer of soft whipped peanut butter cream, and a layer of rich, velvety Swiss chocolate. "If you love chocolate and peanut butter together like I do, you will love these," she says. The post, also on TikTok, has been viewed over 5 million times in the past couple of days, and Lamb's followers have definite opinions about the jar full of creamy chocolate and peanut butter. Costco's New Peanut Butter Cup Jars "Those would not (I repeat would not) even make it to the house," one commenter said. "Except, as in empty containers to be thrown away." Another fan said, "They are wicked good." "Hot dang! I just got the Oreo cookie crumble one and now this shows up! Guess I better consume the Oreo ones fast before getting these!" said another, referring to a similar jarred treat with an Oreo flavor. Many who thought the dessert looked delicious had one complaint: their local Costco does not carry them. Jar Joy jumped into the Instagram conversation to say, "Coming to other regions soon!" The brand also mentioned that the jars would soon be at Aldi. What wasn't apparent in the video is what kind of lid these jars have. If they're resealable, they look like they'd make excellent glass food storage to wash out and use for small amounts of leftovers. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
