My son lives off of these!! He’s the varsity catcher for his team and eats them religiously!! I probably make them every few days and double the recipe! Easy to make…very tasty…and WAY cheaper than any store bought product that tastes awful!! Thank you!!!

A keeper!
I added dark choc chips to the mix and popped some on top. I used a mixed of Flax seeds ect and a chocolate protein powder. They taste good and made a good amount for a week of good healthy snacks

I doubled the recipe for the first time I made it and after reading the reviews can see a lot of extensions of this recipe. I plan to try many variations and individually wrap them and toss them in the freezer. Thanks for sharing this recipe

This is a great grab and go breakfast or health afternoon snack. I made as directed, except doubled the flax because I did not have any wheat germ. I think this recipe lends itself to a multitude of varieties. I could see replacing the bananas with pureed pumpkin or applesauce, and swapping out any number of nut butters (almond, cashew, sunflower). Adding some dried fruit or nuts would be a nice textural addition as well. I think next time I will experiment with pureed pumpkin, almond butter, dried cranberries and some pumpkin pie spice to capture those warm fall flavors I am craving.

I made this as written the first time and felt it could have used something like coconut oil to moisten them up a bit. Second time, I added more protein powder, more ripe bananas, chopped dark chocolate and chia seeds. I eliminated the natural peanut butter topping as I didn't feel like it added to the finished product. I'll keep tweaking to see if I can find something I really like. Hubby loved both batches.

Super tasty. I used peanut butter chips instead of cinnamon ones because that's all I could find locally and I think it added a unique flavor. My only criticism is that the frosting recommendation isn't enough. In the future I'll increase the recipe by half.

Unable to load a picture. Normally I put 12 cookies on a cookie sheet however the spread a lot so next time I will put only six. The cookie has a nice mild flavor. I have not put the frosting in them yet but I’m sure they’ll be fine.

I make this every week now. My Husband loves them. They are a great healthy snack to keep you going when you don’t have time to eat or don’t want to eat junk. The only change I made is I bake it on 180 Not 190 and I added some pitted dates sliced up just to sweeten it a bit. I also couldnt find Whey powder but used Oat Bran instead. Scrumptious!!!!
