Only change was that I dumped some extra sauce on the cooked pieces. I may use less dressing for the amount of food next time, but that’s just me.The fresh vegetables make the salad. I may try this sometime using dehydrated or canned or pickled vegetables to see what happens.I will make this again. Easy to follow Worth the effort Great flavors Crowd-pleaser I've made this exactly as written, and my family loved it. I've also made it with dried herbs instead of fresh. Still fabulous. I've changed the type of vegetables based on what I had on hand, such as carrots and asparagus, still delish. This recipe is now part of my weekly menu, especially for lunches. The texture and the other flavors were spot on though. Helpful (0) Allrecipes Member reviewed ChristineM’s Mediterranean Zucchini and Chickpea Salad Recipe. I subbed ground turkey for the beef and sausage, but added Fresh garlic and sausage seasoning for flavor, and I also subbed no salt added beef broth for the water and bouillon. I liked that this was not super spicy, but still very flavorful. Helpful (0) Best Spinach Dip Ever 01/01/2020 Excellent flavor! I used sautéed fresh spinach and omitted the water chestnuts, as I forgot to buy them. I really liked using the leek soup mix as opposed to the vegetable or onion soup mix. This was fantastic as a veggie dip! The end result was like a thin dressing- I probably should have squeezed more liquid out of the spinach- so I blended in some cream cheese and that helped thicken it up some more. Really liked this - will make it again! Helpful (0) Cranberry Orange Cookies 12/26/2018 These cookies were delicious! Great flavor between the slightly sweet dift cookie and the tart cranberries. The orange glaze is a perfect touch. Helpful (0) Sugar Cookie Drops 12/25/2018 These were pretty good. I had an old recipes that was very similar - the cream of tartar makes these cookies very light and flaky. I like to add lemon or orange zest and extract for a bit of a different flavor. Helpful (0) Lemon Herb Butter 11/23/2018 Had fresh rosemary, thyme and sage to use up so I made this. Love it! Would be nice with orange zest, too. I think I'll keep some of this on hand at all times! Helpful (0) Sweet Italian Green Beans 11/23/2018 Very good, but I halved the sugar (and it was still a bit sweet - however if you add a splash of vinegar, you get a nice sweet and tangy sauce) and I did use fresh green beans cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Since I used fresh, I let them stew for a good half hour. One of my favorite green bean dishes!
