I made this exactly as the recipe is written and it was wonderful. My step-daughter, who usually doesn't care for casseroles, really liked it, as did everyone at our table. I am adding this to my collected recipes as one I will make again and again!

I have made this for probably ten years, every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Before that my mom cooked this on holidays for probably 40 years. We make it just as this recipe specifies. Delicious!

I followed this recipe exactly and was really looking forward to having it for dinner, however, after having it I was going to give this a 1 but my husband thought it was a 5! I really thought there was too much wine and I simply didn't care for the taste-and I love to cook with wine. I'm not that picky-I love garlic and love red wine. It may have been the type of wine-I used a good cabernet and it this beautiful tenderloin turned a little purple during the cooking process!
