The recall is for one specific item because of incorrect labeling. How to Identify the Recalled Aldi Macaroni Salad The recall is for the 32-ounce Aldi Deli Macaroni Salad, which has a use-by date of June 3, 2024 (printed: USE BY Jun/03/24). The ingredient label does not include an allergen callout for wheat. Photos on the FDA’s website show the front packaging was labeled correctly as macaroni salad, but the wrong ingredient label—one for coleslaw—is affixed to the bottom of the packaging. Aldi The salad was distributed to Aldi locations in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Vermont. Consumers who purchased the macaroni salad with the wrong ingredient labeling and are concerned about the allergen labeling can return the product to Aldi for a full refund or discard the item.
