Feeding the family on Halloween is a bit tricky, isn’t it? If you have kids who go out trick-or-treating, do you feed them something healthy before they ring the first doorbell, do you have dinner waiting for them when they get home, or do you just let them eat Halloween candy for dinner while you collect the Reese’s tax?

Never heard of the Reese’s tax? It’s the tax parents levy on their kids’ Halloween candy after they bring it home—the grown-ups’ cut of what’s in the pillowcase or upcycled McDonald’s Boo Bucket for buying them a costume, making sure they’re safe as they go door to door around, and basically providing for them the other 364 days a year as well. Kids don’t have to pay the tax with just Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. They can pay it with Kit Kat bars, Snickers, Starburst, or the treat of your choice.

But at some point, you’ll probably want to serve the family some semblance of a meal, and there are few easier meals on a busy Halloween evening than frozen pizza. Aldi has you covered in that department.

Pumpkin, Ghosts, and Pizzas, Oh My!

Aldi is known for its reasonably-priced groceries and household items. It’s also known for frozen foods that you can cook up quickly like its Red Bag breaded chicken fillets and its copycat version DiGionoro Rising Crust Pizza under Aldi’s Momma Cozzi’s label.

While you could throw the Momma Cozzi's Rising Crust Pizza in the oven to feed hungry trick-or-treaters or your friends and family at a Halloween party, Aldi has a better pizza choice for Halloween.

The store recently announced on its socials its Halloween Pizzas are back, and fans are scooping them up. The Momma Cozzi’s Pumpkin Shaped Pizza is topped with marinara, cheddar cheese, a creamy cheese sauce smile, and mozzarella eyes. The Momma Cozzi’s Ghost Shaped Pizza is a white pizza topped with mozzarella cheese, olive eyes, and a marinara smile.

Both 13.96-ounce pizzas cost $4.99 and take under 20 minutes to bake in the oven.

Kids Love These Halloween Shaped Pizzas

Aldi’s TikTok and Instagram followers are glad these pizzas have returned this year, as they’ve been a favorite in years past.

“Oh my gosh, those pizzas are the cutest! I’m looking at my local Aldi tomorrow. I hope they have them!” one shopper exclaimed.

“Kids loved them last [year],” one follower responded when someone asked if anyone had tried them. Another responded, “The ghost one is one of our favs!! Get it every year.”

If you want to stock up on Aldi’s Halloween Pizzas for Halloween day, or any time you want a quick seasonal pizza, don’t wait on these.

Aldi says they’re part of the Aldi Finds line of products available only while supplies last. When they’re gone, they’re gone. At least until next Halloween.
