Voices in Public (VIP for short) was a Canadianboy band, consisting of Marty Beecroft, Glenn Coulson, Joe Heslip, and Peter Luciano. They won the Best New Group Award at the 1999 Canadian Radio Music Awards, and a Genie Award for Best Original Song in 2000 for "One Thing to Say", their contribution to the film Jacob Two Two Meets the Hooded Fang. Their biggest hit single was "It's Just My Luck" from their album Do You Think You're Ready? They also released several music videos in the late 1990s.
The band also made a brief appearance in the 2003 film The Music Man, and sang O Canada for various major league sporting events.
V.I.P. released a Christmas album entitled Let it Snow in 2004.
After break-up
Glenn Coulson, Marty Beecroft and Joe Heslip went on to release a country album entitled After Tuesday in 2006.
Joe Heslip and Marty Beecroft composed the original score for Universal Vivendi feature film Dark Rising in 2007.
Joe Heslip works as a teacher and vice-principal in Mission, British Columbia and Peter Luciano became a lawyer in Toronto.

In-Public (sometimes written iN-PUBLiC) is a group of street photographers that operates as a collective. It was established in 2000 by Nick Turpin with the intention of bringing together like minded photographers to hold exhibitions, produce books and conduct workshops. It was the first international collective of street photographers. Its geographically disparate membership is facilitated by the Internet. New members are accepted but the recruitment process is "haphazard and organic".
"In Public" is a song by American singer-songwriter Kelis, featuring American rapper Nas. It was released on April 4, 2005 as the fourth and final single from Kelis' third studio album, Tasty (2003). The song was written by Rockwilder and Kelis, with former also producing the track.
Like previous singles "Trick Me" and "Millionaire", "In Public" was not released in Kelis' native United States. Although no music video was filmed for the song, it managed to reach number 17 on the UK Singles Chart. The track was originally due to be released as a double A-side single with the track "Glow", although this did not happen and a reason for the change has never been given.
Critical reception
"In Public" was met with mixed reviews from music critics. Adam Webb of Yahoo! Music cited the song as one of Tasty's highlights, stating that it "espouses the delights of al fresco sex over a clinical electro beat and features a filthy rap courtesy of new husband Nas. Suffice to say it leaves Beyonce and Jay-Z sounding like Mary Whitehouse and Cliff Richard." Conversely, Andy Kellman of AllMusic viewed the track as one of the album's "miscues thwarting perfection" and advised listeners to skip past it.
