Timothy Charles "Tim" Buckley III (February 14, 1947 – June 29, 1975) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. His music and style changed considerably through the years; his first album (1966) was mostly folk, but his subsequent albums incorporated jazz, psychedelia, funk, soul, avant-garde and an evolving "voice as instrument" sound. Though he did not find commercial success during his lifetime, Buckley is admired by later generations for his innovation as a musician and vocal ability. He died at the age of 28 from a heroin overdose, leaving behind his sons Taylor and Jeff, the latter of whom later went on to become a musician as well.
Early life and career
Tim Buckley was born in Washington, D.C. on St. Valentine's Day, to Elaine (née Scalia), an Italian American, and Timothy Charles Buckley Jr., a highly decorated World War II veteran who was the son of Irish immigrants from Cork. He spent his early childhood in Amsterdam, New York, an industrial city approximately 40 miles northwest of Albany; at five years old he began listening to his mother's progressive jazz recordings, particularly Miles Davis.
Tim Buckley (born September 10, 1963) is a current associate head coach at Indiana University. He was hired in April 2008 by new Indiana head coach Tom Crean, who brought him and fellow assistant Bennie Seltzer over from his staff at Marquette.
Buckley was the former head coach at Ball State University from 2000-2006. He is best known for leading the Cardinals to upset wins over #3 Kansas and #4 UCLA during the 2001 Maui Invitational. Buckley was an assistant coach at the University of Iowa under Steve Alford, who left the Hawkeyes to take the head coaching job at the New Mexico Lobos. More recently he was an assistant coach at Marquette University where he is reunited with former Ball State player and 2006 MAC Freshman of the Year Maurice Acker, who transferred after Buckley was fired.
Tim Buckley is the self-titled debut album by Los Angeles based singer-songwriterTim Buckley, released in 1966. Most of the songs on it were co-written by Buckley and Larry Beckett while they were in high school. It was recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, California.
The album was later re-released on January 22, 2001 in a compilation with follow up album Goodbye and Hello by WEA/Elektra, then again on November 7, 2005 except this time coupled with Greetings from L.A..
Rhino Handmade Records reissued the album on January 11, 2011 as part of a two-disc set. The first disc contains both the stereo and mono versions of the album. The second disc contains 22 unreleased recordings Buckley made in 1965 with The Bohemians and in 1966 with Larry Beckett.
Noah Raymond Brickley (born February 10, 1978), better known by his stage nameNoah23, is a Canadian-American hip hop artist from Guelph, Ontario, currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is co-founder of the Plague Language collective and record label, and has been described as "one of Canada's best, most underrated MCs".
Career
Noah Raymond Brickly was born in 1978 in Natchez, Mississippi, and moved to Guelph, Ontario at the age of 4. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his first album, originally entitled Plague Language, in 1999. This album, initially released on cassette, was remastered and released on CD in 2006 under the name Cytoplasm Pixel.
In the late 1990s, Noah23 started the record label Plague Language with producer Orphan (real name Kingston Maguire, who went on to become one half of production duo Blue Sky Black Death). In the early 2000s the Plague Language label released music from artists such as Baracuda,Livestock,Orko the Sycotik Alien,Penny, The Main, and Madadam. In 2004, following the departure of Orphan, the label entered into a period of indefinite hiatus. Plague Language continues to exist, however, as both an imprint on associated Canadian label Legendary Entertainment and as a loose collective of Guelph-based hip-hop artists.
The Fool were a Dutch design collective and band in the psychedelic style of art in British popular music in the late 1960s. The group was named in reference to the Fooltarot card.
The original members were Dutch artists Simon (Seemon) Posthuma and Marijke Koger, who were discovered by photographer Karl Ferris among the hippie community on the Spanish island of Ibiza in 1966. He took photographs of clothes they designed, and sent them to London where they were published in The Times (London). Ferris took The Fool back to London, and together they opened a studio, with the Dutch artists producing clothes and art, and Ferris pursuing photography. Barry Finch and artist Josje Leeger joined later.
Works
Their work includes:
the colourful clothes worn by the Hollies on the cover of their 1967 album Evolution;
stage costumes and the front cover design for the self-titled 1967 debut LP Move by the Move;
Note: Original vinyl pressings list "Down in the Street" as the final track with "Wanda Lu" as track 9 on the sleeve, but has the correct running order listed on the disc itself.

Long afloat on shipless oceans
I did all my best to smile
'Til your singing eyes and fingers
Drew me loving to your isle
And you sang
Sail to me, sail to me
Let me enfold you
Here I am, here I am
Waiting to hold you
Did I dream you dreamed about me ?
Were you hare when I was fox ?
Now my foolish boat is leaning
Broken lovelorn on your rocks
For you sing
'Touch me not, touch me not
Come back tomorrow
Oh my heart, oh my heart
Shies from the sorrow'
I am puzzled as the oyster
I am troubled as the tide
Should I stand amid your breakers ?
Or should I lie with death my bride ?
Hear me sing
'Swim to me, swim to me
Let me enfold you
Here I am, here I am
Waiting to hold you'

Each and every day, every little way I've been lovin' you I can't live without your lovin' at night Makes it hard to say it's wrong When I know it's right Even though the years won't be kind I love you more than I care about myself I love ya, hate ya for what you're doin' to my health I love ya, hate ya for all the love ya make me feel I love ya, darlin' 'cause ya know I can't leave But when you're gone I'm little boy lost in the storm With the wolves and flames all around I talk to myself and pray to the rain That this lonely curse won't drive me insane I run into the sea but the sea only sighs Look at the fool that love brings me Look at the fool that love brings me Look at the fool that love brings me Each and every day, every little way I've been lovin' you I can't live without your lovin' me at night Makes it hard to say it's wrong When I know it's right Even though the years won't be kind I love you more than I care about myself I love ya, hate ya for what you're doin' to my health I love ya, hate ya for all the love ya make me feel I love ya, darlin' 'cause ya know I just can't leave Look at the fool that love brings me Look at the fool that love brings me Look at the fool that love brings me
