Timothy Charles "Tim" Buckley III (February 14, 1947 – June 29, 1975) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. His music and style changed considerably through the years; his first album (1966) was mostly folk, but his subsequent albums incorporated jazz, psychedelia, funk, soul, avant-garde and an evolving "voice as instrument" sound. Though he did not find commercial success during his lifetime, Buckley is admired by later generations for his innovation as a musician and vocal ability. He died at the age of 28 from a heroin overdose, leaving behind his sons Taylor and Jeff, the latter of whom later went on to become a musician as well.
Early life and career
Tim Buckley was born in Washington, D.C. on St. Valentine's Day, to Elaine (née Scalia), an Italian American, and Timothy Charles Buckley Jr., a highly decorated World War II veteran who was the son of Irish immigrants from Cork. He spent his early childhood in Amsterdam, New York, an industrial city approximately 40 miles northwest of Albany; at five years old he began listening to his mother's progressive jazz recordings, particularly Miles Davis.
Tim Buckley (born September 10, 1963) is a current associate head coach at Indiana University. He was hired in April 2008 by new Indiana head coach Tom Crean, who brought him and fellow assistant Bennie Seltzer over from his staff at Marquette.
Buckley was the former head coach at Ball State University from 2000-2006. He is best known for leading the Cardinals to upset wins over #3 Kansas and #4 UCLA during the 2001 Maui Invitational. Buckley was an assistant coach at the University of Iowa under Steve Alford, who left the Hawkeyes to take the head coaching job at the New Mexico Lobos. More recently he was an assistant coach at Marquette University where he is reunited with former Ball State player and 2006 MAC Freshman of the Year Maurice Acker, who transferred after Buckley was fired.
Tim Buckley is the self-titled debut album by Los Angeles based singer-songwriterTim Buckley, released in 1966. Most of the songs on it were co-written by Buckley and Larry Beckett while they were in high school. It was recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, California.
The album was later re-released on January 22, 2001 in a compilation with follow up album Goodbye and Hello by WEA/Elektra, then again on November 7, 2005 except this time coupled with Greetings from L.A..
Rhino Handmade Records reissued the album on January 11, 2011 as part of a two-disc set. The first disc contains both the stereo and mono versions of the album. The second disc contains 22 unreleased recordings Buckley made in 1965 with The Bohemians and in 1966 with Larry Beckett.
Happy Sad is the third album by singer-songwriterTim Buckley, released in 1969. It was recorded at Elektra Sound Recorders in Los Angeles, California and was produced by former Lovin' Spoonful members Zal Yanovsky and, coincidentally, his subsequent replacement Jerry Yester. It marked the beginning of Buckley's experimental period, as it incorporated elements of jazz that he had never used before. Many of the songs here represent a departure from the binary form that dominated much of his previous work. The sound of the album is characterized by David Friedman's vibraphone, an instrument which gives the album a more relaxed tone than Buckley's earlier work. The songs are much longer than on previous releases and this style continued through to later works. The vocals on the album are more drawn out than earlier performances and this represents the beginning of Buckley using his voice like an instrument. The lyrics on Happy Sad represent a change as Buckley stopped working with Larry Beckett, his lyricist on the two previous albums Tim Buckley and Goodbye and Hello, and began writing the lyrics himself. Buckley's self-penned efforts stand in contrast to Beckett's occasionally political and literary-style work. Buckley would also go on to author all his own material on the following two albums.
The Addams Family is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. The show is based upon The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams in his single-panel gag cartoons, which depict a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre. Numerous film and television adaptations of Addams' cartoons exist, but the musical, which is the first stage show based on the characters, is based upon the cartoons rather than the television and film characters. The Addams Family is also the first production produced by Elephant Eye Theatricals.
After a tryout in Chicago, the show opened on Broadway in April 2010. The original cast featured Nathan Lane as Gomez and Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia. An original Broadway cast recording was released on June 8, 2010.
The Broadway production closed on December 31, 2011. A revised national tour of North America began in September 2011.
Development
In 2007, the producers announced that they had obtained the rights from the Tee and Charles Addams Foundation to create a musical adaptation of The Addams Family for Broadway, and they anticipated an opening during the 2009–2010 season after an out-of-town tryout. This was the first time that Charles Addams' comic creations were licensed to serve as the basis for a stage production. The musical's lead producers were Stuart Oken and Roy Furman. In addition to Oken and Furman, Vivek Tiwary also joined The Addams Family musical's team of producers. The Addams Foundation reportedly retained control over the show's content and insisted that, instead of drawing the plot from The Addams Family television series or films, the production team devise an original musical based solely on Addams' cartoons.
Neighbours is an Australian television soap opera created by Reg Watson. It was first broadcast on 18 March 1985. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the serial in 1997, by order of first appearance. All characters were introduced by the show's executive producer Stanley Walsh. The 13th season of Neighbours began airing from 20 January 1997.Lisa Elliot was introduced in the same month. February saw the arrival of student Tim Buckley. Ben Atkins debuted in April, while Amy Greenwood made her first appearance in July. Matt Compton and Ben's sister Caitlin Atkins were introduced in September. November saw the first appearance of Paul McClain.
Lisa Elliot
Lisa Elliot, played by Kate Straub, made her first screen appearance on 27 January 1997. Straub was cast after being spotted in the audience of variety television show Hey Hey It's Saturday. Straub told Amanda Ruben of TV Week that she felt embarrassed by what had happened, but considered it the break she needed. She added "I was an avid fan of Neighbours when Kylie and Jason were on, but I haven't watched much since. But my short time with the show has given me a huge appreciation of the television industry." Straub was initially contracted with the show until early 1997.

I was lost without a song without a melody
You came into my hotel life
You made my room a home

Ah, you made the sunshine in the city

You changed an old man filled with pity
Back to a child again

Are my dreams of coming and going forever
Inside the rivers of time you'll find me waiting
For you to find peace in your mind
So we can love again
I feel what you feel,
If you feel what you feel,
And I see what you see,
If you see what you see,
So it goes on and on
On it goes, on and on
It's my heart and your heart,
It's our hearts together,
You sing and I'll bring,
We'll both love together,
And all I know is let it grow
All you'll find is peace of mind.
