The Truth is a fiction podcast that seeks to re-imagine what audio drama is and can be. The podcast is released every two weeks. The tagline for the organization is "Movie for your ears". Stories are developed as a collective where frequently the dialogue is completely improvised. Additionally, recordings are made on location and then taken into the studio to be edited. Work by The Truth has been heard on many nationally syndicated public radio programs, including This American Life, Studio 360, Snap Judgment, and The Story (see Links below). The show is part of podcast network Radiotopia.
The Truth stories, while fictional, are often topical and possible. The pilot episode was inspired by the real speech "In Event of Moon Disaster" written for President Richard Nixon in case the Apollo 11 mission failed.
History
In 2009 Jonathan Mitchell started The Truth with Hillary Frank. Frank had been Mitchell's editor on a story for a show produced by American Public Media (APM) called Weekend America, titled "Eat Cake." The piece was intended to air on Valentine's Day weekend, but Weekend America was cancelled while the story was in production and the last episode was January 29, 2009. Weekend America decided to air the story anyway, on that last broadcast. Peter Clowney, the executive producer at Weekend America, was then moved into a development position at American Public Media. Mitchell and Frank pitched him the idea of doing a regular drama series along the lines of "Eat Cake". The title "The Truth" comes from a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, that goes, "fiction reveals truth that reality obscures."
Ledisi Anibade Young (/ˈlɛdᵻsiː/; born March 28, 1972) is an American R&B and jazz recording artist, songwriter and actress. Her first name means "to bring forth" or "to come here" in Yoruba. Ledisi is known for her jazz influenced vocals. In 1995, Ledisi formed the group known as Anibade. After unsuccessfully trying to get the group signed to a major label, she formed LeSun Records with Sundra Manning. Along with her group, Anibade, Ledisi released an album titled Take Time. The album gained major airplay from local radio stations. She is a nine-time Grammy Award nominee.
In 2000, Ledisi released her first album, titled Soulsinger: The Revival. Ledisi and her group toured in 2001, performing various shows. In 2002, Ledisi released her second album, Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue. The album won her an award for "Outstanding Jazz Album" at the California Music Awards.
In 2007, Ledisi signed a major record deal with Verve Forecast and released her third album in August of that year, titled Lost & Found, which sold almost 217,000 copies and earned her two Grammy nominations, including one for Best New Artist. In 2008, Ledisi released her Christmas album, It's Christmas.
"The Truth" is a mid-tempo ballad in which a male looks at his failing relationship, asking his (ex)girlfriend not to tell others "the truth" about it. The final line reveals that the "truth" is that he still needs her.
The song was recorded by Trent Willmon on his 2008 album Broken In before Aldean recorded it for his third studio album, 2009's Wide Open. Regarding the song, Aldean told the website Country Standard Time, "This is one of those songs that I heard the first time and knew I wanted to cut[…]He's basically begging[…]saying 'make up whatever story you want, tell 'em I left town or whatever you need to say[…]just don't tell 'em the truth.' I don't know a guy who hasn't been through that before."
School!!(スクール!!,Sukūru!!) is a Japanese television series which premiered on Fuji TV on January 16, 2011. It was aired on Fuji TV's Sunday 9:00pm slot "Dramatic Sunday" in the 2011 winter drama season.
Plot
The story is about Shingū Elementary School which is beset by a lot of problems. Seichiro Naruse, a construction worker whose company closed down, suddenly becomes the principal of his old school. He must save the school from closing down.
The construction company he was working in went bankrupt and he was appointed as the civilian principal of the Shingū Elementary School. Having devoted 20 years in the construction industry, he has no teaching license. He takes up the job in order to keep a promise he made with his former teacher and ex-principal Takeichi. Nonetheless, he has a cheerful personality and takes positive action at every turn, and he frequently describes himself as a "X X demon". He was greatly appalled by the appearance and the change in his alma mater, which was struggling to change the status quo. In the last episode, Shingū Elementary School narrowly avoided closing down, but at the same time, he resigned to take responsibility for the incident that was caused by Akira Hara in the school.
This is Harris's first studio album where he does not regularly provide the vocals on his songs, instead producing the music and having guest singers sing for him (save for "Feel So Close" and "Iron" with Dutch DJ Nicky Romero), as Harris stated in November 2010 he would not be singing on his songs any more.
18 Months debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, earning Harris his second consecutive number-one album in the United Kingdom. The album had sold over 815,636 copies in the UK as of November 2014. It has also sold more than 25 million singles worldwide.

Sujata is a riveting tale of a young girl, who is struggling to come out of the clutches of her tormenting cousin brother. At a very young age, she is forced to live with her cousin and his family. Herein, begins a life of incessant harassment by her cousin brother.
Even as an adult she lives in the shadow of fear. For years, she changes addresses and identities in the hope of finding freedom; but each time he hunts her down. Neither the police, nor the NGOs are able to help her. Pushed to a corner, she decides to take the extreme step.
Not Smart Enough for Nursing School? Here's the truth #shorts
Not smart enough for nursing school? That's one of the biggest fears that people have before applying to nursing school. It could even hold you back from achieving your dream of becoming a nurse.
Here's the truth: nursing school can definitely be challenging. There are some courses you will probably find difficult. However, the hardest part, in my opinion, was not so much the content.
The hardest part for me was finding the time and energy to accomplish it all and manage my time wisely. But that's also good news, because you can learn to manage your time and adapt to those things.
Many nurses working today had the same fear of nursing school, but they pursued it and gave it their best shot. Guess what? Today they are working as nurses.

The Reason You’ll Fail Nursing School is THIS #students #nursing #shorts
I want to talk to all the nursing students out there about a topic that is often overlooked but extremely important: pride. I've seen firsthand how pride can cause students to fail nursing school or struggle to find work after graduation. Don't let pride be the reason you fail nursing school, let's work together to ensure your success as a future nurse.
