The Minister of Public Security (Hebrew:שר לביטחון פנים, Sar LeVitahon Pnim) is the political head of the ministry. Until 1995 the position was known as Minister of Police (Hebrew:שר המשטרה, Sar HaMishtara). The first Minister of Police, Bechor-Shalom Sheetrit, was a former policeman, and served in the position from Israeli independence in May 1948 until a month before his death in January 1967, serving in fourteen governments and making him the country's longest continually serving minister. The post was abolished after Menachem Begin became Prime Minister in 1977, but was reinstated in 1984 when Shimon Peres became PM. There is occasionally a Deputy Minister of Public Security.
The Ministry of Public Security of Poland (Polish:Ministerstwo Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego or MBP) was a postwar communist, secret police, intelligence and counter-espionage service operating from 1945 to 1954 under minister for Public Security general (Generał brygady) Stanisław Radkiewicz, and supervised by Jakub Berman of the Politburo. Its main goal was the eradication of the anti-communist structures and socio-political base of the underground Polish Secret State as well as, the persecution of soldiers of the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa) and Freedom and Independence (WiN) active during World War II. In that capacity, MPB remained known mainly through its own regional offices called Urząd Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego or UBP (Office of Public Security, official name); and Urząd Bezpieczeństwa or simply UB (Office, or Department of Security).
Formation of the communist state security
In July 1944, behind the Soviet front line, a brand new Polish provisional government was formed, called the Polish Committee of National Liberation (Polski Komitet Wyzwolenia Narodowego, PKWN). It was established in Chełm on the initiative of Polish communists, in order to assume control over Polish territories re-taken from Nazi Germany by the advancing Red Army. PKWN was proclaimed "the only legitimate Polish government" by Stalin, with full political control and Soviet sponsorship. Within the PKWN's internal structure, there were thirteen departments called Resorty. One of these was the Department of Public Security (Resort Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego) or RBP, headed by Stanisław Radkiewicz. It was a precursor of the Polish communist secret police.
The Ministry of People’s Security gathers information from local informers in social units about irregular acts. If a case is believed to be of political nature, it is instead handed over to the State Security Department for investigation.
Israel (/ˈɪzreɪəl/ or /ˈɪzriːəl/; Hebrew:יִשְׂרָאֵלYisrā'el; Arabic:إِسْرَائِيلIsrāʼīl), officially the State of Israel (Hebrew:מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵלMedīnat Yisrā'el[mediˈnat jisʁaˈʔel]; Arabic:دولة إِسْرَائِيلDawlat Isrāʼīl[dawlat ʔisraːˈʔiːl]), is a country in the Middle East, situated at the southeastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea and the northern shore of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. It shares land borders with Lebanon to the north, Syria in the northeast, Jordan on the east, the Palestinian territories (which are claimed by the State of Palestine and are partially controlled by Israel) comprising the West Bank and Gaza Strip to the east and west, respectively, and Egypt to the southwest. It contains geographically diverse features within its relatively small area. Israel's financial and technology center is Tel Aviv, while Jerusalem is both its self-designated capital (unrecognised by the United Nations) and its most populous individual city under the country's governmental administration. Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem is internationally disputed.
Israel David Bascón Gigato (born 16 March 1987 in Utrera, Seville), known simply as Israel, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right midfielder.
During the 2006 off-season, in August, vastly underplayed at Betis due to the presence of Joaquín in his position, Israel spent time at Chelsea on trial after a move to Real Madrid Castilla failed to materialise. His trial was unsuccessful, however, and the player then left for Mérida UD on a loan deal.
Israeli wine is produced by hundreds of wineries, ranging in size from small boutique enterprises to large companies producing over ten million bottles per year. Wine has been produced in the Land of Israel since biblical times. In 2011, Israeli wine exports totaled over $26.7 million.

French security officials detained by Israeli police in diplomatic incident in Jerusalem
Israeli police briefly detained two French security officials in a diplomatic incident that prompted the cancellation of a local visit by France's foreign minister.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot had planned to go to the French-owned Eleona church compound in Jerusalem during a visit to the region attempting to calm tensions in the region.
However, he said that the compound visit was called off "because Israeli security forces entered with weapons, without prior French authorisation, without agreeing to leave today."
Speaking at the scene, Barrot called the situation "unacceptable" and said that it's "likely to weaken the ties” between France and Israel.
