Flight 148, commanded by Captain Christian Hecquet and First Officer Joël Cherubin, departed Satolas Airport (now known as Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport) in Lyon, France. While being vectored for a VOR/DME approach to runway 05 at Strasbourg, it crashed at 19:20:33 CET (18:20:33 UTC) in the mountains at an altitude of 2,620 feet (800m).
The pilots had no warning of the imminent impact because Air Inter had not equipped its aircraft with a ground proximity warning system (GPWS). It is speculated that this was because Air Inter – facing ferocious competition from France's TGV high-speed trains – may have encouraged its pilots to fly fast at low level (up to 350 knots below 10,000 feet, while other airlines generally do not exceed 250 knots), and GPWS systems gave too many nuisance warnings.
ITF2357 was discovered at Italfarmaco of Milan, Italy. It was patented in 1997 and first described in the scientific literature in 2005.
Adverse effects
In clinical trials of givinostat as a salvage therapy for advanced Hodgkin's lymphoma, the most common adverse reactions were fatigue (seen in 50% of participants), mild diarrhea or abdominal pain (40% of participants), moderate thrombocytopenia (decreased platelet counts, seen in one third of patients), and mild leukopenia (a decrease in white blood cell levels, seen in 30% of patients). One-fifth of patients experienced prolongation of the QT interval, a measure of electrical conduction in the heart, severe enough to warrant temporary suspension of treatment.
It has a size of 100x100x100mm (without antenna) and build around a standard 1U cubesat bus. The primary satellite purpose is the raising awareness of space by providing easily decoded signal to amateur radio receivers. ITF-1's mission was unsuccessful; no signal from the spacecraft was ever received and it reentered to Earth atmosphere on 29 June 2014.
The series premiered in the U.S. on September 17, 1972, and ended February 28, 1983, with the finale, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen", becoming the most-watched and highest-rated single television episode in U.S. television history at the time, with a record-breaking 125 million viewers (60.2 rating and 77 share), according to the New York Times. It had struggled in its first season and was at risk of being cancelled. Season two of M*A*S*H placed it in a better time slot (airing after the popular All in the Family); the show became one of the top 10 programs of the year and stayed in the top 20 programs for the rest of its run. It is still broadcast in syndication on various television stations. The series, which depicted events occurring during a three-year military conflict, spanned 256 episodes and lasted 11 seasons.
The first Mash steakhouse opened on Bredgade in Copenhagen in 2009. In 2012, a Mash restaurant opened in a building owned by Crown Estates on Brewer Street in London's Soho neighbourhood. In April 2013, The Telegraph commented that the team behind Mash had "set the London steakhouse scene on fire" with their restaurant which won the award for Restaurant of the Year at the 2013 London Lifestyle Awards. The first Mash restaurant in Germany is expected to open on Grosser Elbstrasse in Hamburg in August 2015.
Ownership
Mash is owned by Copenhagen Concepts which also runs the restaurants Le Sommelier and Umami. Jesper Boelskifte is CEO of the company. The group of owners also include Peter Trauboth, Mikkel Glahn, Erik Gemal and the chef Francis Cardenau.

Air Inter Flight 148 - Crash Animation
Air Inter Flight 148, an Airbus A320 was a flight between Lyon and Strasbourg on January 20, 1992 with 96 passengers and crew on board.
The Crash:
While the flight was circling to land at Strasbourg, it crashed into a mountain at an altitude of 2,600 feet, killing 87 of the 96 on board. The investigation of the crash concluded that the crash was caused by a series of events. The pilots had no warning that they were approaching a mountain as Air Inter aircraft were not equipped with ground proximity warning systems yet. It was also discovered that the pilots may have been told to fly faster than the normal speed of 250 knots at 10,000 feet to compete with France's train lines. Another factor that lead to the crash was that the pilots may not have been fully familiar with the A320's automat...

Mayday - Doomed to Fail - Air Inter 148
High over France’s mountainous Alsace region, Air Inter Flight #148 starts its descent towards Strasbourg airport. An Airbus A-320, the aircraft is the world’s first fully computerized passenger plane, and while its autopilot is programmed to land on a specific runway, high winds and heavy winter weather mean the pilots must take over the controls to land on another runway. Slightly off course, a controller guides the pilots as they prepare to make a visual landing. But as they descend through the clouds, the aircraft suddenly rips through the treetops below and slams into the side of a mountain. Can rescuers locate the survivors in time? And can investigators figure out what caused the crash?

Runway 05 ran southwest to northeast, and runway 23, which ran the opposite way. And Only runway 23 had an instrument landing system which could guide the plane all the way down to its threshold. And at that time the active landing runway was 05, which required a “non-precision approach”. Air Inter pilots rarely flew this type of approaches, so Captain Hecquet was not comfortable for it. So, he made a plan that he will approach to runway 23 using ILS then do the circling approach on runway 05. The co-pilot Cherubin began configuring the computer to execute non-precision approach on runway 05. But the captain mentioned his plan after Cherubin had configured the flight computer for runway 05. At this point he overrode Cherubin’s previous inputs. Because he already informed flight 148,the ATC assumed that the aircraft will perform a non-precision approach into runway 05.ATC cleared the flight to proceed to the ANDLO waypoint but The Captain was surprised. When they reached ANDLO, the controller cleared flight 148 for a non-precision approach to runway 05. And the Captain never intended to land straight onto runway 05, as well as they were too high to land. Only now the First Officer informed the controller of their intention. Then the controller replied that if flight 148 performed an ILS approach to runway 23 followed by a visual approach to runway 05, they would have to hold because of traffic waiting to take off. The captain agreed to loop back around to ANDLO for a non-precision approach.
The Captain calculated that once they will align with the runway, the descend angle would be 3.3 degrees.
Then ATC instructed them to turn left onto a heading of 090 degrees, followed quickly by a command to turn to 051 degrees to line up with the runway. The Captain immediately followed the instructions. The aircraft was now heading toward the airport but slightly to the left of the approach path.
At 6:19 p.m.
The aircraft was in Heading mode, so the crew needs to switch the mode to FPA mode and then enter the flight path angle in it. But here Captain forgot to press the mode change button .Then he used input knob to enter -3.3 degrees. But the system was in v/s mode, his entry of “-33” was read as “-3,300 feet per minute” instead of “-3.3 degrees.” Then the aircraft began to descent at the rate of 3300 ft/min. The aircraft was on a collision course with Mount Ste.-Odile.
The aircraft crashed in the Vosges Mountains, near Mont Sainte-Odile, killing 87 of the 96 people on board.
The investigation was done by Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety France. According to the investigators, The controller's guidance did not place the aircraft in a position which allowed the pilot flying to align it before ANDLO. The crew started descend with very high vertical speed and were failed to correct the abnormal high rate of descent.
The absence of a GPWS and an appropriate doctrine for its use, which deprived the crew of a last chance of being warned of the gravity of the situation. And the design of the auto-pilot vertical modes controls could have contributed to the creation of the accident situation.
After this accident, Airbus modified the interface of the autopilot so that a vertical speed setting would be displayed as a four-digit number, preventing confusion with the Flight Path Angle mode.

Another factor that lead to the crash was that the pilots may not have been fully familiar with the A320's automated system. The BEA believes that the pilots mistakenly set the autopilot to descend 3,300 feet per minute. Small turbulence might have also contributed to the plane's rapid descent causing it to crash.

SAT1 Reportage über den Airbus Absturz bei Strassburg von Air Inter am 20. Januar 1992.
" Air Inter Flight 148 was a scheduled airline flight on January 20, 1992, that crashed in the Vosges Mountains, near Mont Sainte-Odile, while circling to land at Strasbourg Airport. 87 of the 96 onboard were killed.
Flight 148 departed Satolas Airport (now known as Saint-Exupéry International Airport) in Lyon, France, at 5:20pm. While being vectored for a VOR DME Approach to Runway 05 at Strasbourg, it crashed in the mountains at a height of only 2600 feet. The pilots had no warning of the imminent impact since the aircraft was not fitted with GPWS."
" Vol 148 Air Inter. Le crash du mont Sainte-Odile est une catastrophe aérienne ayant eu lieu le 20 janvier 1992 à 19 h 20 min (en heure française, soit 18 h 20 min en heure universelle) tuant 87 passagers et membres d'équipage d'un Airbus A320 de la compagnie française Air Inter au lieu-dit La Bloss, sur la commune de Barr, près du mont Sainte-Odile en Alsace. Neuf occupants de l'avion ont survécu."

Air Inter flight 148 departed from Lyon. It was winter season, Weather in Strasbourg was overcast with rain. In that time Strasbourg Airport had two runways, runway 05 and runway 23.

The high-tech autopilot system on board flight 148 should have made it an especially safe flight; but when they were only minutes from their destination, the computerized system drove them into a mountainside.
