Fishing on the Russia-China border | Primorsky Krai | How we perceive the Russian culture here
Hi guys! On my channel I told you a lot about my hometown, Spassk, located in Primorsky Krai in the very South-East of Russia. Well, now let's explore the nearby area and visit the village of Novosel'skoye! There we will also see the Khanka lake, divided between Russia and China. What strikes me the most is how close this place to the China is. The province of Heilongjiang is just across the border, and it's interesting to think how this influences the life of people here. In this video I will tell you about how I perceived the Russian culture, living on the border of two countries.
Every summer my family comes to Novosel'skoye for fishing, and this time I decided to save these moments in the vlog. For us it's not really fishing but rather outing with tasty food in the peaceful athmospher...

Большое Гороо Алханай Забайкальский край | Bolshoe Goroo Alkhanay Zabaykalsky Krai
Back in 2015, my friends and I went to conquer mountains Alfani in her Big Goroo - sacred to the Buryat and Buddhists around the mountain clockwise, length, according to various estimates from 100 to 120 km, but many say the number 108 kilometers, sacred to Buddhists all over the world.

Chita | Russia! The Other Way
Chita isn’t exactly a magnet for casual tourists. Those who do make the effort will be greeted warmly by the locals, who are unused to seeing outsiders that aren’t involved in the mining industry).
There’s plenty of history - for starters Genghis was born not far away (allegedly, at least) and there’s plenty of evidence of the Decembrists’ long exile here. Add to this numerous spots of Buryat culture and a charming city centre - Puyi, the last Emperor of China was even held prisoner in the city in 1945.
Chita is unlikely to star as a “get here before it becomes popular”, largely due to its remote location but if you’re in the vicinity, do make the effort to stop by.

2. The first traces of human presence in the area dates to 35-150 thousand years ago. The consolidation of the population in the Agin Transbaikal steppes was promoted by the decree of Peter I , published in 1703 , in which the places of their nomads were determined, as well as the location of border signs under the Burinsky Treaty with China in 1727. In 1802, according to the imperial decree of October 17, 1799 “On the Settlement of the Midday Territory of Siberia”, lands along the rivers Ingoda, Chita, Ulung (Olengui) and the Tour, formerly inhabited by Buryats, were transferred to migrants arriving from the western regions of the country.
3. Chita is a city and the administrative center of Zabaykalsky Krai. Chita experiences a dry-winter subarctic climate (Köppen climate classification: Dwc) with very cold, very dry winters and warm, relatively wet summers.
4. During the Russian revolution of 1905, the Chita Republic was declared. Government forces took control again in January 1906.
5. On the territory of the Trans-Baikal Territory, on the Yablonovy ridge, there is a unique place in the world - Mount Pallasa, from the slopes of which flow directly into three large rivers of Asia: the Yenisei (through the Selenga and Baikal ), Lena and Amur.
6. On the territory of the Chernyshevsky district, in the Kulinda paddy, there is a geological location of scaly and feathered dinosaurs, found for the first time in the world together (compsognat , psittacosaurus , kulindadromeus Zabaikalsky). In 2010 in the district in the paddy Kulinda remains of carnivorous dinosaur were found Compsognathus . In 2011, the bones of herbivorous psittacosaurs were added to them . The age of the finds is from 170 to 145 million years. On the basis of six partially preserved skulls and several hundred fragments of the skeleton, a new species of feathered bird-like dinosaurs was described, called the Trans-Baikal culindadromeus , which lived 160 million years ago.
7. Zabaykalsky Alps - Kodar. In the north of the region there is an amazing country of contrasts and surprises - Charskaya depression with the surrounding mountain ranges. It is known for such monuments of nature as Kodar ridge with the highest point of Transbaikalia, Chara Sands - a miniature desert 10 km long.

For us it's not really fishing but rather outing with tasty food in the peaceful athmosphere, and you can tell that by the little amount of fish we got :D But even though my catch wasn't that successful, I am still glad because that day I made friends with local cats, cows and fishermen who showed me their catch, and even stumbled upon the territory of Khanka Nature Reserve that I didn't excpect to see so close to the village.
I hope you enjoyed this video! Like this video, write your comment and subscribe to my channel! Thank you for all the support that you showed me on my latest live stream, I am energized by having such a lovely audience, and I will definitely keep developing my channel! Stay tuned :D
