Breed 77 (pronounced "Breed Seven-Seven") is a British band from the overseas territory of Gibraltar whose music is a fusion of alternative metal and flamenco.
Origin
Breed 77 comes from the British overseas territory of Gibraltar. Old Gibraltarian school friends, Paul Isola, Danny Felice, and Stuart Cavilla met up in London and became informally known as the Gibraltarian Mafia. When, in late April 1996, this circle of friends formed a band, they wanted a name to reflect their joint origins and called themselves simply Breed. The band were forced to change their name because it was previously registered by Steve Hewitt (formerly of Placebo) on his vanity record label. Stuart Cavilla, the band's bass player, had previously worked as a motorcycle courier under the call sign of Kilo 77 or K77, and the band became Breed 77.
Awards
In 1998, Kerrang! readers voted Breed 77 the 'Best Unsigned Band'. In 1999, they won both the Metal Hammer and Kerrang! awards for the best new band. Then in 2001 they signed a five album deal with Albert Productions, the legendary Australian publisher of AC/DC.
Vol. 1 is the debut studio album of Birds of Maya, released on January 21, 2008 by Holy Mountain. The album comprises home recordings made between 2004 and 2006.
About a year after King Josiah of Judah had turned the nation toward repentance from the widespread idolatrous practices of his father and grandfather, Jeremiah's sole purpose was to reveal the sins of the people and explain the reason for the impending disaster (destruction by the Babylonian army and captivity), "And when your people say, 'Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us?' you shall say to them, 'As you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your land, so you shall serve foreigners in a land that is not yours.'" God's personal message to Jeremiah, "Attack you they will, overcome you they can't," was fulfilled many times in the Biblical narrative: Jeremiah was attacked by his own brothers, beaten and put into the stocks by a priest and false prophet, imprisoned by the king, threatened with death, thrown into a cistern by Judah's officials, and opposed by a false prophet. When Nebuchadnezzar seized Jerusalem in 586BC, he ordered that Jeremiah be freed from prison and treated well.

Lisboa Mulata is the fifth album by Portuguese instrumental folk-rock band Dead Combo, and it was released on October of 2011 on Universal Music. The album has a few special guests, like Camané, Sérgio Godinho, Alexandre Frazão and Marc Ribot.
"Lisboa Mulata warm-blooded/ Blends into dancing bodies in bars, until falling into temptation/ This Lisbon Mulata nobody knows where it lives, where she comes from/ Waggles on the guitar and destiny that God, too, gave her/ Daughter of all, the islands, the streets and wauls/ Untrammeled those who, into her arms fall/ Wretched in the midst of this bloddy mess." - DEAD COMBO 2011

You can tell right away on Celebration, cuz it's just as stupefying to describe as every other moment they've put down. Why is that? Seems so simple! But ya get near pronouncements like "Free or The Groundhogs as seen in the busted mirror mosaic of Japanese underground psych" and a lil balloon of acid anxiety busts in yer gut. Insufficient. This ain't just about shred and dread; this is about sweat and spit and busted bottles. This is about volume--meaning both quantity AND decibels. It takes a lot for many of us to sit still for side-long live tracks, so I suggest you dethrone that ass and break some valuables when the evil busts start rollin' out like smoke from Sleep's van; it's only natural. And don't fear the "TV Eye" cover, neither, cuz it surely made me forget the last 67 beef-witted versions I'd heard. Course, there's so much snarl all over this thing, I'm surprised the mic ain't slumped in the corner, nursing an ulcer, by the end.
Another fetid feather in Philly's cap. Dressed in hand-painted sleeves, it'll make all the records you file it next to cooler via osmotic paint flakes.

All those stars you have looked in the eyes Are long dead reminders of the past you are leaving behind So don't be shocked if you see me collapse I'm just not that stable I think if you're able You'd best get the hell out of here Cause I could even go supernova now So fierce and bright But I might go too far Become a black hole And pull the light right out of you Pulling the light out of you Is what I would do with my gravity and my mass Warping your time and your space You'd better not look back his way with that beautiful Face and those eyes and those sweet and soft Xs and Os I will pull the light right out of those
