The Reverend Dr. James Edward Cleveland (December 5, 1931 – February 9, 1991) was a gospel singer, musician, and composer. Known as the King of Gospel music, Cleveland was a driving force behind the creation of the modern gospel sound by incorporating traditional black gospel, modern soul, pop, and jazz in arrangements for mass choirs. Throughout his career, Cleveland appeared on hundreds of recordings, won 4 Grammy Awards, and received a star along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Biography
Early life and career
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Cleveland began singing as a boy soprano at Pilgrim Baptist Church where Thomas A. Dorsey was minister of music and Roberta Martin was pianist for the choir. He strained his vocal cords as a teenager while part of a local gospel group, leaving the distinctive gravelly voice that was his hallmark in his later years. The change in his voice led him to focus on his skills as a pianist and later as a composer and arranger. For his pioneering accomplishments and contributions, he is regarded by many to be one of the greatest gospel singers that ever lived.
Cleveland continued his football career after high school at Iowa. After one season at Iowa, Cleveland was dismissed after he was found with drugs in his dorm room. After his dismissal, Cleveland attended Trinity Valley Community College where he played football. Upon graduation from Trinity Valley, Cleveland accepted a scholarship offer to play at Houston. Cleveland ranked second in the nation for receptions per game, and sixth in receiving yards per game for the 2009 season. He was named the 2009 Conference USA Newcomer of the Year.
Northeast Ohio refers to a similar but substantially larger area. This article covers the area generally considered to be Greater Cleveland, but includes some information generally applicable to the larger region, which is itself part of what is known historically as the Connecticut Western Reserve.
The Naked Brothers Band is an American musical comedy series created by Polly Draper. The show depicts the daily lives of Draper's sons, who lead a fictional world-renowned rock band from New York City. As a mockumentary, the storyline is a hyperbole of their real lives, and the fictional presence of a camera is often acknowledged. Lead vocals and instrumentation are contributed by the siblings; they wrote the lyrics themselves. The show stars Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff, who encounter conflicts with each other that are later omitted. Nat's fictional female admirer and real life preschool friends—including the guitarist who had no prior acquaintance with the family—feature as the band members, with the siblings' genuine father and Draper's husband as their accordion-playing dad and Draper's niece as the group's babysitter.
The series is a spin-off of Draper's 2005 film of the same name that was picked up by Nickelodeon, premiering in January 2007. Draper, star of Thirtysomething and her writings The Tic Code and Getting Into Heaven, is the executive producer of the series, and often writer and director. Albie Hecht, former Nickelodeon president and founder of Spike TV, is the executive producer, under his Worldwide Biggies tag. Draper's jazz musician husband Michael Wolff serves as the music supervisor and co-executive producer with Draper's brother, Tim, as the consulting producer.

Lyrics:
Verse 1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
Faith will keep you when your way seems dark;
(faith, faith, where is your faith in God)?
Verse 2
Christians, you say that you love the Lord,
and yet we complain each day seems hard.
Into each life some rain must fall;
(faith, faith, where is your faith in God)?
Chorus
Faith can move mountains,
faith can open the fountain,
oh, faith can help you succeed,
oh, faith can supply your every need;
where is your faith in God?

Macroburst confirmed in Greater Cleveland, but what exactly is that?
In addition to four confirmed tornados, the National Weather Service in Cleveland has confirmed a macroburst from Tuesday’s storms. That’s not necessarily a term we hear often, so what does it mean?
You've probably heard the term "microburst" when it comes to severe storms. A "macroburst" is basically the same thing, but on a larger scale.
A microburst generally refers to a very concentrated burst of wind from the downdraft of a storm that causes damage extending less than 2 1/2 miles. A macroburst is a burst of wind that causes damage extending more than 2 1/2 miles and lasting for at least 5 to 20 minutes. We easily exceeded both of those with Tuesday's burst that stretched into three different counties.
The macroburst event of Aug. 6 had a path of damage that stretched for 15 m...

6 had a path of damage that stretched for 15 miles. The damage began near the lakeshore and then stretched inland from there. Damage from this macroburst was confirmed in eastern Cuyahoga County (the city of Cleveland was NOT included), western Lake County, and northwest Geauga County. This portion of the storm had estimated peak winds at 90 mph and caused its damage between 4:20 and 4:50 p.m., essentially moving southeast across the damaged areas.

UCP Mission Statement
The mission of UCP of Greater Cleveland is to empower children and adults with disabilities to advance their independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community.
Our History
In 1950, UCP of Greater Cleveland was formed by a group of determined parents who saw few true opportunities for their children with cerebral palsy. During this time, it was often recommended that individuals with disabilities be placed in institutional settings rather than live with their families and be contributing members of the community. The parents that founded UCP knew that their children, and all individuals with disabilities, had a right to the most productive and inclusive life possible and joined together to make this a reality. What began as a loosely-knit group of programs consisting of a nursery school, a summer camp for children, a social-recreational program for adults, and a mother's club has evolved into an accredited, high impact, thriving organization meeting the complex health and social challenges facing children and adults with a range of disabilities. UCP today provides a continuum of services throughout Greater Cleveland ranging from pediatric therapy, family-focused case management, and education, as well as employment opportunities and community integration services for adults.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be the premier provider of life span services to individuals with disabilities to afford them equal opportunities in daily living, work, and community settings. Our clients will live happy, healthy, and enriched lives.
Who We Serve
UCP of Greater Cleveland typically serves over 1,500 children and adults every year. While the agency initially served only children with cerebral palsy, we are now a network of support for people with a wide spectrum of disabilities including but not limited to, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, genetic disorders, intellectual disability, among others.

Lyrics:
Verse 1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
Faith will keep you when your way seems dark;
(faith, faith, where is your faith in God)?
Verse 2
Christians, you say that you love the Lord,
and yet we complain each day seems hard.
Into each life some rain must fall;
(faith, faith, where is your faith in God)?
Chorus
Faith can move mountains,
faith can open the fountain,
oh, faith can help you succeed,
oh, faith can supply your every need;
where is your faith in God?
Vamp 1
Faith, faith, faith,
where is your faith?
Vamp 2
Where is your faith in God?

James Cleveland's Son Reveals The DARK Truth
James Cleveland was an influential American gospel singer, musician, and composer, often referred to as the "King of Gospel Music." Born on December 5, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, and passing away on February 9, 1991, Cleveland left a profound impact on gospel music and its development.

Michael Fletcher, soloist; Jimmy "JD" Dowell, director; Bishop Andre Woods, organ; Daryl Houston, keyboard; Charles Craig IV (Volley), bass; James L. Craig, Jr., drums.
