Twila Paris (born December 28, 1958) is a Contemporary Christian Music singer-songwriter, author, and pianist. Since 1980, Paris has released 22 albums, amassed 33 number one Christian Radio singles, and was named the Gospel Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year three years in a row. Many of her earlier songs such as "He Is Exalted", "We Will Glorify", "Lamb of God", and "We Bow Down", are found in church hymnals or otherwise sung in church settings. She was inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in May 2015.
As a child she released her first album, Little Twila Paris, in 1965. The album included songs drawn from among those she sang with her family in their evangelistic outreaches.
Paris released her first full-length album, Knowin' You're Around, in 1980, and along the way she has written books, recorded children's music, and created worship songs.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Paris released mainly contemporary Christian pop songs. But in recent years, she has focused on recording new versions of some of her worship standards and writing new praise and worship music. Her 2005 album He Is Exalted: Live Worship collects a number of favorite songs commonly used in praise and worship of Paris's and presents them in a more typical style of live worship music. After her song "He Is Exalted" was used in churches in Brazil, Paris re-recorded it in the Portuguese translation they were using. This version appears on her 1992 album Sanctuary. Sanctuary won the GMA Praise & Worship Album of the Year, and in 1995, her song "God Is In Control" won a GMA Song of the Year award. She has won five GMA Dove Awards and three American Songwriter Awards.

Hail to the Thief is the sixth studio album by the English alternative rock band Radiohead, produced by Nigel Godrich and released on 9 June 2003. Following the electronic and jazz styles of Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001), Hail to the Thief returned to the guitar rock of Radiohead's earlier albums, but retained electronic elements such as drum machines, synthesisers and digital manipulation. To avoid the protracted recording sessions of previous albums, the band recorded it quickly, employing a live, "spontaneous" approach.
Many of the album's lyrics were written in response to the War on Terror and the resurgence of right-wing politics in the West after the turn of the millennium. Songwriter and vocalist Thom Yorke said the album expresses "frustration and powerlessness and anger, and the huge gap between the people that put themselves in control and the people that allegedly voted for them."
Despite a high-profile internet leak ten weeks before its release, Hail to the Thief debuted at number one in the United Kingdom and number three in the United States. It produced three charting singles: "There There", "Go to Sleep" and "2 + 2 = 5". It is certified platinum in the UK, Canada and the US. It was acclaimed by critics and became the fifth consecutive Radiohead album to be nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. It was the last album released under Radiohead's six-album record contract with Parlophone.
Mizuki Watanabe (渡辺 みづき, Watanabe Mizuki, born March 6, 1981 in Kitami, Hokkaidō, Japan), better known simply as Miz, is a Japanese pop/rock singer and actress. Though most of her music is released in Japan, she does her work primarily from Gotland in Sweden, mainly doing promotional videos, photo shoots and recording there. She originally debuted in 1999 under Universal Music Japan using her real name, Watanabe Mizuki, releasing two singles. In 2003, she began working with the Swedish producer Tord Backstrom and debuted under Victor Entertainment with the pseudonym Miz in 2004. That same year, she released an English album in Sweden, with the lead single "Waiting" reaching #8 on the Hitlistan Swedish singles chart. In 2007, Watanabe returned to Universal Music Japan, changed her stage name to Mizrock, and released her first mini-album Good bye, yesterday and three singles. However, in 2009 she announced on her official blog that she had changed her stage name back to Miz. Her biggest hits in Japan are "New Day" and "In The Sky", the theme song for the Square Enix role-playing video game Grandia III.
Paris (UK: /ˈpærɪs/ PARR-iss; US: i/ˈpɛərɪs/ PAIR-iss; French: [paʁi]) is the capital and most populous city of France. Situated on the Seine River, in the north of the country, it is in the centre of the Île-de-France region, also known as the région parisienne, "Paris Region". The City of Paris has an area of 105 km² (41 mi²) and a population of 2,241,346 (2014 estimate) within its administrative borders essentially unchanged since 1860.
Since the 19th century, the built-up area of Paris has grown far beyond its administrative borders; together with its suburbs, the whole agglomeration has a population of 10,550,350 (Jan. 2012 census).Paris' metropolitan area spans most of the Paris region and has a population of 12,341,418 (Jan. 2012 census), or one-fifth of the population of France. The administrative region covers 12,012 km² (4,638 mi²), with approximately 12 million inhabitants as of 2014, and has its own regional council and president.
Paris was founded in the 3rd century BC by a Celtic people called the Parisii, who gave the city its name. By the 12th century, Paris was the largest city in the western world, a prosperous trading centre, and the home of the University of Paris, one of the first in Europe. In the 18th century, it was the centre stage for the French Revolution, and became an important centre of finance, commerce, fashion, science, and the arts, a position it still retains today.
Paris, Texas is a city and county seat of Lamar County, Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 25,171. It is situated in Northeast Texas at the western edge of the Piney Woods, and 98 miles (158 km) northeast of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Physiographically, these regions are part of the West Gulf Coastal Plain.
Following a tradition of American cities named "Paris", a 65-foot (20 m) replica of the Eiffel Tower was constructed in 1993. In 1998, presumably as a response to the 1993 construction of a 60-foot (18 m) tower in Paris, Tennessee, the city placed a giant red cowboy hat atop the tower. The current tower is at least the second Eiffel Tower replica built in Paris; the first was constructed of wood and later destroyed by a tornado.
Lamar County was first settled in different parts of an area to the west of Jonesborough and Clarksville. There was a settlement on the Red River at a place called Fulton, one near what is now called Emberson, one to the southeast of that near where today is the North Lamar school complex, a fourth southwest of that at the Chisum-Johnson community called Pinhook, and a group of pioneers east of that at Moore's Springs. In late 1839, George W. Wright moved from his farm northeast of Clarksville to a hill where he had purchased 1,000 acres of unoccupied land. It was on the old road from the Kiomatia River's mouth at the Red River to the Grand Prairie. Wright opened a general store on the road. By December 1840 a new county had been formed, named for Republic of Texas President Mirabeau B. Lamar. By September 1841 Wright's store was called Paris and served as the local postal office. In August 1844, the county commissioners took Wright's offer of 50 acres and made Paris the county seat.
Paris is a 2003 American thriller film written and directed by Ramin Niami. Original music for this film was composed by John Cale, who had previously worked with Niami on his 1998 film Somewhere in the City.

Virtual facial avatars will play an increasingly important role in immersive communication, games and the metaverse, and it is therefore critical that they be inclusive. This requires accurate recovery of the albedo, regardless of age, sex, or ethnicity. While significant progress has been made on estimating 3D facial geometry, appearance estimation has received less attention. The task is fundamentally ambiguous because the observed color is a function of albedo and lighting, both of which are unknown. We find that current methods are biased towards light skin tones due to (1) strongly biased priors that prefer lighter pigmentation and (2) algorithmic solutions that disregard the light/albedo ambiguity. To address this, we propose a new evaluation dataset (FAIR) and an algorithm (TRUST) t...

Welcome to another edition of the VT Podcast which I’ve called Ideas That Matter. In this episode, I talk about Disambiguation. If you want to change the world, you have to see the world for what it is. We humans are pattern-seeking animals. We love stories. Our minds are hard-wired to organize the world using patterns, which saves our conscious minds a lot of mental effort. But it's also become a limitation for us - it's easy to get stuck in patterns that don't serve us well. If you're dispelling myths about yourself, or if you're trying to change your life, start by looking at the small things - the patterns that shape your life on a daily basis. Listen in. In today's video we take a look at Radiohead's Politically charged 6th album, Hail To The Thief. ▾ o p e n ▾ Hail to the Thief is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Radiohead. It was released on 9 June 2003 through Parlophone internationally and a day later through Capitol Records in the United States. It was the last album released under Radiohead's record contract with EMI, the parent company of Parlophone and Capitol. After transitioning to a more electronic style on their albums Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001), which were recorded through protracted studio experimentation, Radiohead sought to work more spontaneously, combining electronic and rock music. They recorded most of Hail to the Thief in two weeks in Los Angeles with their longtime producer Nigel Godrich, focus...
It's an open secret that Hail to the Thief came out with a pretty messy tracklisting. With the band considering the idea of reissuing the album, I thought it would be fun to speculate on the concept of them rearranging the track order; and how a potential re-done tracklisting for Hail to the Thief would turn out. HTTT Variants: I thought I would be able to just upload the versions I edited to YouTube on my alt but they got blocked worldwide, even though I wasn't monetizing them. Seems kinda like no shit but sometimes full albums get uploaded to YouTube without getting taking down but I don't possess the juju to be able to do something like that. Well anyways if you know of a way that I can share the album variants without getting sued to hell for committing a piracy then let me know cuz ...

Amnesiac was a left turn for the band, and Hail To The Thief is yet another change of direction for the band. While it has some of the bands best moments, it is also home to a bunch of songs that don't impress MORE REACTIONS/OTHER CONTENT: https://youtube.com/channel/UCJ9AFB3thzz2nPJqJGhNjjA -Twitch (NEW): https://www.twitch.tv/bradtaste - Twitter: https://twitter.com/BradTaste - Follow me on AOTY: https://www.albumoftheyear.org/user/bradtastemusic/ - Discord: https://discord.gg/utVG9KR6as - Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/BradTaste Tracklist: 1. 2 + 2 = 5 2.
Oh Lord, You have been good,
You have been faithful to all generations.
Oh Lord, Your steadfast love
and tender mercy have been our salvation.
chorus:
For by Your hand we have been fed
and by Your Spirit we have been led.
Oh Lord... (repeat chorus)
Oh Lord, Almighty God,
Father unchanging, upright and holy
Oh Lord, You have been good,
You have faithful, You have been good
You have been good,
You have been faithful,
You have been good.
Your lovingkindness, it is everlasting,
Your lovingkindness, it is everlasting,
