I totally adored you I would have stuck by you Through thick and thin I would have let you Touch my pure and Discerning skin I almost fell in love with The man you almost are I almost stopped myself From falling in too far Can I just say You have done a foolish thing You walked away From all the good My solid love could bring Now I hear you're hanging round With some mousey girl From some small town Foolish thing Foolish thing Your friends warned me about you They said you were more trouble Than you're worth They said you couldn't give me All that I deserve chorus
