Highway 35, also known as the King's Highway, is a north–south highway in Jordan. It starts in at the Syrian border north of Irbid and leads to Highway 15 in the Ma'an Governorate.
History
The route of Highway 35 is over 5,000 years old. This highway was first constructed by the Romans, and was part of the Via Nova Traiana. It is one of the most historic highways in the world (see historic King's Highway).
The route begins in Dewey at Macon Lake Road near Island number 81 on the Mississippi River. AR 35 runs through bayous and fields in Chicot County, briefly entering Desha County for a junction with AR 159/AR 208 in Halley.
Returning to Chicot County, AR 35 intersects the four-lane divided US 65/US 278 and US 165 east of Dermott, before entering the city. AR 35 serves Dermott as Speedway St before entering Drew County. The highway runs south of the Seven Devils Swamp WMA along the Arkansas Midland Railroad tracks until Monticello. AR 35 is concurrent with US 278, and later US 425 until the northwest corner of Monticello, where AR 35 turns northwest away from US 425. The highway continues northwest, intersecting AR 530, which is an under-construction segment of the future Monticello Bypass (the bypass itself is a portion of the long-term plan to extend Interstate 69 through Arkansas). A sign exists at where AR 32 will meet I-69 that states "Future I-69 Corridor <--->".
Oregon 35 starts a few miles east of Government Camp, at an interchange with U.S. 26. It then winds around the southeastern side of the mountain, providing access to several ski resorts, snow-parks, hiking trails, campgrounds, and other recreational facilities. After rounding the eastern slope of the mountain, the highway descends into the Hood River valley, a farming community famous for its produce, in particular, apples and cherries. In the valley the route passes through the communities of Mount Hood, Lenz and Pine Grove.
State Trunk Highway35 (STH-35, WIS35) is a Wisconsin state highway running north–south across western Wisconsin. It is 412.15 miles (663.29km) in length, and is the longest state highway in Wisconsin. Portions of WIS35 are part of the Great River Road.
Route description
WIS35 is a major north-south route through westernmost Wisconsin, often following close to the state border. Because of the lower population of counties along the state's western border with Iowa and Minnesota, it is a mostly rural routing with lower traffic counts than in other parts of the state. WIS35 is also the terminus of 15different state, US, and Interstate highways along its route.
Illinois state line to Prairie Du Chien
The southern terminus of WIS35 is at the Illinois–Wisconsin border, three miles (4.8km) north of East Dubuque, Illinois. It continues on into that state as Illinois Route 35 (IL35), which is the shortest state highway in Illinois.
From the state line, WIS35 continues north for about a mile (1.6km) before intersecting with WIS11 at Badger Road. This section of highway is the only segment of WIS35 between the state line and Prairie du Chien that is not co-signed with at least one other highway.
Jordan is a village in the town of Waterford, Connecticut, and the historic center of the town. It was named from the Jordan River. The village was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Jordan Village Historic District in 1990. The district includes 58 contributing buildings and one other contributing site over an area of 57 acres (23ha). It includes examples of Greek Revival and Queen Anne architectural styles.
Location
Jordan Village is located on land known historically as Jordan Plain, a flat land area at the head of Jordan Cove, an estuary off Long Island Sound. The historic district surrounds the intersection of Rope Ferry Road and North Road.
Most evidence shows that he was missionary bishop subordinate directly to the Pope. He arrived in Poland, probably from Italy or the Rhineland, in 966 with Doubravka of Bohemia to baptise Mieszko I of Poland. After the death of Jordan until 992 the throne of the Bishop of Poland was vacant, or there was a bishop of unknown name (the first theory is more probable). His successor, from 992, was Unger.

After a dismal start which saw the team fail to score a single championship point in the first half of the season, numerous improvements to the car and tyre development by Goodyear enabled Jordan to climb back into the top teams. At the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix, the team scored a historic first victory with Hill, with Schumacher finishing behind him in second place. The team finished fourth in the Constructors' Championship, one ahead of Benetton.
