Jordan Grand Prix was an Irish-registered Formula One constructor that competed from 1991 to 2005. The team is named after Irish businessman and founder Eddie Jordan. Jordan and his team were well known for a "rock and roll" attitude which added colour and character to Formula One in the 1990s.
In early 2005, the team was sold to Midland Group, who competed for one final season as 'Jordan', before renaming the team as MF1 Racing for the 2006 season, before being sold later in 2006 to Dutch car manufacturer Spyker to become Spyker F1 for 2007, and then sold again to become Force India in 2008.
Early history
Eddie Jordan had a brief stint as a race driver in the late 1970s before founding Eddie Jordan Racing in the early 1980s. The team first came to prominence in British Formula Three with a legendary duel between one-time Jordan test driver Ayrton Senna and Jordan-Ralt driver Martin Brundle, edged out by the Brazilian at the last round of the championship. The team graduated to International Formula 3000 for 1988, winning its first race in the category with Johnny Herbert. In 1989, Jordan won the F3000 drivers' championship with future Formula One star Jean Alesi. The team also ran future F1 drivers such as Martin Donnelly and Eddie Irvine in F3000.
The 1977 Colgate-Palmolive Grand Prix was a professional tennis circuit administered by the International Lawn Tennis Federation (ILTF, later the ITF) which served as a forerunner to the current Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Tour. The circuit consisted of the four modern Grand Slam tournaments and open tournaments recognised by the ILTF. The Colgate-Palmolive Masters is included in this calendar but did not count towards the Grand Prix ranking. Colgate-Palmolive was the new tour sponsor, taking over from Commercial Union. Guillermo Vilas won the Grand Prix circuit, having accumulated the most points (2,047), and received the largest share from the bonus pool ($300,000). The top eight points ranked singles players as well as the top four doubles teams qualified for the season-ending Masters tournament
The 1995 SkodaGrand Prix was a professional rankingsnooker tournament that took place between 16–29 October 1995 at the Crowtree Centre in Sunderland, England.
Jordan is a village in the town of Waterford, Connecticut, and the historic center of the town. It was named from the Jordan River. The village was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Jordan Village Historic District in 1990. The district includes 58 contributing buildings and one other contributing site over an area of 57 acres (23ha). It includes examples of Greek Revival and Queen Anne architectural styles.
Location
Jordan Village is located on land known historically as Jordan Plain, a flat land area at the head of Jordan Cove, an estuary off Long Island Sound. The historic district surrounds the intersection of Rope Ferry Road and North Road.
Most evidence shows that he was missionary bishop subordinate directly to the Pope. He arrived in Poland, probably from Italy or the Rhineland, in 966 with Doubravka of Bohemia to baptise Mieszko I of Poland. After the death of Jordan until 992 the throne of the Bishop of Poland was vacant, or there was a bishop of unknown name (the first theory is more probable). His successor, from 992, was Unger.

The Jordan 191 was the first Formula One car built by Jordan Grand Prix and participated in the 1991 Formula One season. The car was designed by a team of three staff led by chief designer Gary Anderson. Five drivers took part in the sixteen round championship for the team. Andrea de Cesaris was the only one to drive the full season, despite failing to pre-qualify for the opening round of the championship in Phoenix. It was also de Cesaris who scored the team's best finish of the season, with a fourth place at both Montreal and at Mexico City. Bertrand Gachot secured his best finish of his shortened season, with a fifth place - just over 2 seconds behind de Cesaris at the finish. Gachot's season was curtailed by a two-month prison sentence, for spraying CS gas at a taxi driver in London.
Over the final six races, three drivers filled in for Gachot - Alessandro Zanardi, Roberto Moreno and Michael Schumacher. Schumacher was a revelation in his one and only race weekend for Jordan. At the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix, Schumacher qualified a superb seventh on the grid (Jordan's joint-best ever at that time), outqualifying de Cesaris who was eleventh. However, the high did not last, as the clutch failed within the first mile of the race. There followed a legal wrangle between Benetton and Jordan, with Schumacher signing for Benetton - a team with which he would later win two world championships - sending Moreno packing from Benetton and Jordan signed him up. He did two races before handing another debutant, Zanardi, his debut in the final three races. A pair of ninths were the best results that any of Gachot's replacements achieved.
Jordan won a lot of hearts with their dazzling cars, but which was best?

BE ON THE EDGE! The Final Years of Jordan Grand Prix (2000-2004)
Jordan was a team with a cult following. A following that I'm certain had NOTHING to do with the glamour models that used to knock about with them for promo. Nothing to do with that at all! Wow, by modern standards some stuff has not aged well...
But it was sad to see them go from potential championship winners to tootling round at the back with Minardi, hiring pay driver after pay driver and only getting a podium because there were six cars on the grid. But, at least Eddie got to end it on his terms like Ken did.

F1 History: Jordan Grand Prix
"The clock never lies. The time on the timesheet is the time they were able to do" said Eddie Jordan. A pretty ironic but powerful statement that would be unknown to him at the time, eventually summarizes the experience of his team, #Jordangrandprix over the years. Encompassing their stunning rise to the top of the #f1 and their steep descent almost immediately after.

Challenges, victories, and bankruptcy: the story of the Jordan F1 team
In the early '90s, Formula 1 witnessed the entry of several small teams into the category, often coming from lower-tier competitions. One of them was Jordan: the team led by Irishman Eddie Jordan had a relatively tough start but found success in the competition. Managing to stay financially stable, the team persevered on the grid and even achieved victories. However, in the 2000s, a decline set in, leading to the team's eventual sale. Nevertheless, the yellow cars garnered a legion of fans and are remembered to this day for their performance and, of course, Eddie's charisma.

Slap on your goggles and gloves! it's another season of THE GSRC LOTUS 49 WORLD CUP!
The Lotus 49 is among the most significant and beloved cars in the history of Formula One racing. Its technical significance stems from the fact that, when it was introduced in 1967, the Lotus 49 was the first successful Formula One car to feature the engine as a fully-stressed, structural component of the chassis. Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe designed the Lotus 49 around the new Ford-Cosworth DFV which would go on to become one of the winningest engine designs in the history of motorsports.
In the car's debut, Lotus teammates Jim Clark and Graham Hill dominated the 1967 Grand Prix of the Netherlands with Hill winning the pole and Clark taking the race victory.
