Breathe In is the second studio album (though the first to be released) by the British popsinger-songwriterLucie Silvas, released by Mercury Records on 11 October 2004 in the United Kingdom. It was released in the Netherlands on 29 March 2005 and worldwide in April 2006.
The majority of the album was co-written by Silvas with Judie Tzuke, whom Silvas had previously been a backing singer for. The album also features a cover of Metallica's song "Nothing Else Matters" which was released as a single in Europe.
The fifth and final UK single was "Forget Me Not", a rerecording of an old song from Silvas' first unreleased album of the same name. The single failed to reach the UK Top 100.
The film is about a high school music teacher who has an affair with a foreign exchange student from England who is his daughter's age, due to his disillusion with his life and their shared love of music.
Keith Reynolds is a high school music teacher married to Megan and living in a small town an hour and half from New York City. He has given up a career as a musician following the arrival of their daughter. Lauren is very nearly 18 and is a champion swimmer. In his spare time, he substitutes for a cello player in an orchestra and is applying for a permanent role. Keith finds his life frustrating, resents his job as a teacher, and his wife's dismissal of his music playing. He wants to move back to the city and work as a musician but his wife Megan refuses to consider this as she disliked the uncertainty of the income and the lifestyle.
Breathe In. Breathe Out. is the fifth studio album by American singer Hilary Duff. It was released on June 12, 2015, by RCA Records. It is the first studio album released by Duff in eight years, since 2007's Dignity. Duff began work on the album in January 2012, but after scrapping the songs she recorded, she resumed the sessions on September 2013, continuing throughout 2014 and 2015. After being signed to RCA Records in 2014, she released the singles, "Chasing the Sun" and "All About You". She later recorded more songs in Sweden in February 2015, and released the single, "Sparks". The resulting album from the various recording sessions has combined Duff's dance-pop sound with EDM and folk-pop elements.
The album received generally positive reviews from music critics, praising the album's production quality and the mix of genres on the record. The album debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 Chart, making it her fifth top-five entry. It also achieved top 5 positions in Australia and Canada. It also marked a few milestones in Duff's comeback to music with the single "All About You" being her first top 20 hit in Australia in nearly ten years, and the single "Sparks" which became her first top ten hit on the Billboard's Dance Chart since 2008's "Reach Out", her fourth top ten entry, and her fifth single to chart there overall. It's lead single "Chasing the Sun" was also Duff's first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 since her single "Stranger", which was released in 2007.
Nothing Left to Lose is the second studio album and major-label debut by Mat Kearney. Several tracks are re-recordings or remixes of songs originally featured on Kearney's first album, Bullet.
"All I Need", "Crashing Down", and "Where We Gonna Go From Here" were all featured in season 3 episodes of the hit TV series Grey's Anatomy. "Breathe In, Breathe Out" is also being used as the current Grey's Anatomy song with a music video featuring Mat and clips from seasons 3 and 4 of the show. The track "Nothing Left to Lose" was used in a commercial promoting the 2007 film, Catch and Release, and was also used on an episode of the TV series Jericho and Dirty Sexy Money. The tracks "All I Need" and "Where We Gonna Go from Here" feature in the fourth and tenth episodes (respectively) of the first season of the TV series Kyle XY. "All I Need" was also featured in a season 5 episode of NCIS. At a concert in Houston in 2006, Kearney revealed that his song "All I Need" was written based on two of his friends from New Orleans and their story during Hurricane Katrina. Additionally, Kearney's song "Renaissance" was written about friends from Oregon who survived a severe car crash. His song, "Where We Gonna Go From Here?", was featured during the third season of Grey's Anatomy and on the first season finale of ABC Family's show Kyle XY. Most recently, the song was also featured in the Season 7 opener of NBC's Scrubs and in an episode of Royal Pains. Kearney's single, "Breathe In, Breathe Out", debuted in September 2007, and marks the singer's fourth and highest profile placement in Grey's Anatomy. The song is currently used as the theme in television promotions for the series' fourth season, including a music video that premiered on September 19 during the fourth season preview. The song was also featured in the season 4 finale of 30 Rock.
