The Arkansas Attorney General is an executive position and constitutional officer within the Arkansasgovernment. The Attorney General is the chief law enforcement/legal officer and lawyer for Arkansas. The position is elected every four years, e.g. 2006 and 2010, at the same time as the Governor.
The current Attorney General is Republican Leslie Rutledge, who was elected on November 4, 2014 and sworn in as the 56th Attorney General of Arkansas on January 13, 2015. She is the first Republican ever to serve as Arkansas Attorney General, as well as the first woman.
According to the official website, the duties of the Attorney General include representing state agencies and commissions in courts of law, giving opinions on issues presented by legislators and prosecutors, handling criminal matters and habeas corpus matters in the state, and advocating for citizens on issues pertaining to the environment, antitrust, and consumer protection.

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General is a cabinet minister in the government of Manitoba. Before 1990, the minister who held this position was simply designated as Attorney-General. The minister who holds this office is also designated as Keeper of the Great Seal of Manitoba.
The current Minister of Justice and Attorney General is Gord Mackintosh.
The Attorney General of Mexico (Spanish:Procurador General de la República) (English:Attorney General of the Republic) is the head of the Office of the General Prosecutor (Procuraduría General de la República, PGR) and the Federal Public Ministry (Ministerio Público de la Federación), an institution belonging to the Federal Government'sexecutive branch that is responsible for the investigation and prosecution of federal crimes. The office is governed mainly by the Constitution of Mexico and the Organic Law of the Attorney General's Office (Ley Orgánica de la Procuraduría General de la República). The Attorney General is a member of the President's Cabinet.
The Attorney General's Office is organized into several subordinate entities, including five Under-Attorney General Offices (Legal and International Affairs, Regional Control and Criminal Procedures, Specialized in Organized Crime, Specialized in Federal Crimes, Human Rights and Community Services, Prosecutor Offices such as the Specialized in Electoral Crimes, the Federal Investigations Agency, and the National Center for Planning, Analysis and Information for Combating Crime (Centro Nacional de Planeación, Análisis e Información para el Combate a la Delincuencia, CENAPI).
This cabinet position is usually reserved for someone holding a legal qualification. There have been exceptions: Joe Clark only studied the first year of law at University of British Columbia Faculty of Law before embarking on political life.
Arkansas (i/ˈɑːrkənsɔː/) is a state located in the Southern region of the United States. Its name is of Siouan derivation, denoting the QuapawIndians. The state's diverse geography ranges from the mountainous regions of the Ozark and the Ouachita Mountains, which make up the U.S. Interior Highlands, to the densely forested land in the south known as the Arkansas Timberlands, to the eastern lowlands along the Mississippi River and the Arkansas Delta. Known as "the Natural State", Arkansas has many diverse regions that offer residents and tourists a variety of opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Arkansas is a compilation of album tracks from Hey Little One and A New Place in the Sun plus the B-sides of Capitol singles "Private John Q"/"Less of me" (1965), "By the Time I Get to Phoenix"/"You've Still Got a Place in My Heart" (1967) and "Where's the Playground Susie?"/"Arkansas" (1969).
