Mobile operator Play recorded PLN 202.2 million of consolidated net profit in the fourth quarter of 2018 compared to PLN 142.9 million profit a year earlier, the company said in a report. Consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 1.807 billion in Q4 of 2018 compared to PLN 1.74 billion in the previous year.
In the whole of 2018, the company had PLN 774.6 million of consolidated net profit compared to PLN 388.3 million profit a year earlier, with sales revenues of PLN 6.839 billion, compared to PLN 6.67 billion a year earlier.

Play pointed out that it reached the highest FCFE level in the company's history (free cash flow for equity owners) last year, at the level of PLN 816 million, which means an increase of 22.8 percent y\/y.

The Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) unanimously approved the appointment of Krzysztof Bachta as the CEO of WSE-listed Alior Bank.

The TNS Consumer Auction Index increased to plus 0.3 points in February 2019, from plus 0.2 point a month earlier, according to a survey conducted by pollster TNS Kantar.
